The next morning, Hünkar woke up, showered, and dressed. She went downstairs, ate breakfast, and got ready to go to the office. Today Demir will not be able to attend the office, because he is not feeling well.

She made sure everything was fine at home, she visited Demir before leaving to make sure how he felt, she told Saniye the things that had to be done today and finally, she said goodbye to Haminne and left the house .

[She arrived to the office.]
Ayşe: Günaydin Büyük Hanim!
Hünkar: Günaydin. Please bring me some tea right away, I have so many things to do today. [sighs.]
Ayşe: Yes, sure. [leaves.]
[brings the tea inmeadiately.]
Ayşe: There you have ma'am.
Hünkar: Thank you, you can go now.
[Hünkar wears her glasses and starts to read all the files that were placed on her desk while drinking her tea.]

Time passes and Hünkar is busy reading the archives of the lands while analyzing it one by one. She noticed a few things that were not right, like beads and land transfers, so she kept fixing that.

It is almost time for her to return home because she had already finished her work in the office, when suddenly, Ayşe enters and tells her that she has a visitor.

[Knocks.]
Hünkar: You can enter.
[She enters.]
Ayşe: Ma'am, someone wants to see you.
Hünkar: Right now? I am almost leaving. Who is it?
Ayşe: It's a gentleman who says that he wants to meet you.
Hünkar: [mumbles a bit confused.] Who could it be?
[sighs.] Agh, tamam. Let him enter!
Ayşe: Alright. [opens the door and tells the man to enter.]

Hünkar was not expecting visitors but what she did not know was that this visitor was not just anyone, it was HIM. Which she did not imagine for the simple fact that she did not think he was capable of coming to visit her in her office.

[As the "man" entered she was saving her files and did not pay much attention when he entered. But suddenly, she saw him.]
Ali Rahmet: Good afternoon, Yaman Hanim!
[she stays there, speechless and with her angry/confused face.]
Hünkar: Fekeli? What are you doing here? [asked confused and takes off her glasses.]
Ali Rahmet: Why are you surprised? You knew that I would come to visit you at any time.
Hünkar: Yes, I knew it. But I didn't know you had the nerve to come to my office, my son's office,  my late husband's office! [she says angrily.]
Ali Rahmet: And what did you expect me to do? That I went to your house, to the Yaman mansion, where is your son, your family, and everyone else? [asks with a confused face.]
Hünkar: I can expect everything from you. [does a sarcastic gesture.]
Ali Rahmet: Too bad you think that way about me. [looks down.]
Hünkar: Huh! [looks at him.] So what am I supposed to think about you? [laughs sarcastically.]
Ali Rahmet: Won't you offer me a seat? [smiles a bit.]
Hünkar: I mean, since you are here, without being invited, what else can I do? [shrinks her arms.]
Sit down then. [sighs.]
Ali Rahmet: Well thank you. [sits.]

A silence spread throughout the office. An awkward silence. He was staring at her while she amused her gaze all around to avoid looking at him.
She clearly felt unable to speak to him because of how upset she was. But, still, he started the conversation.

[He asks very curiously.]
Ali Rahmet: So.. how did you react to hearing the news?
Hünkar: How was I supposed to react to such news? [looks at him.] I was surprised. I didn't expected those news at all. Actually, I was angry. I was wondering why you got out of jail so fast, you know, 20 years is too little for such a thing that you did. [sighs saying sarcastically.]
Ali Rahmet: I did nothing, at all! How are you so sure that I did something? What makes you think so?
Hünkar: How did you not do anything? What are you saying? [asks confused.]
20 years ago, you killed my husband, the father of my son. You left me a widow and with a child to raise. And last but not least, I was left alone with the responsibility of a business on top of me. And despite that, you ask me, what did you do? Look yourself what you did.
Ali Rahmet: Yaman Hanim, you're blaming me for a crime, you don't even have a clue how it happened and under what circumstances it happened.
So many years have passed and you never tried to know the truth. You just believed what you were told, that I killed your husband. And yes, it may be that I killed him. But it is not the whole truth.
Hünkar: [turns away her face.]
Ali Rahmet: And you're saying that Demir lost a father and you lost your husband. Why don't you say what I lost too?
The years I was in prison, I lost my wife and children, I lost my family.
I paid for a crime where not only was I to blame, of which no one really knows anything. But my family wasn't guilty of anything. I suffered too.
Hünkar: I am sorry about your family, but are you trying to say that you are not completely to blame for that !? What makes you think that? Don't you know the truth?
Ali Rahmet: I ask YOU, don't you know the truth?
Hünkar: Yes, I know the truth. You shot him in the chest, you killed him. That's the truth. [turns her face.]
Ali Rahmet: That is what you believe Yaman Hanim. But really, that is not all.
That is part of what you have been told.
[breathes deeply.]
Look, we all know what your husband was like, what Adnan Yaman was like. He was not without sin, he was no saint either. [gets interrupted by her.]
Hünkar: [stands up.] How dare you say that about my husband? Can't you see where you are standing! In his office. [shouts.]
And what are you trying to tell me? That you killed him, because he was not sinless. Because he was bad? And he deserved to be shot?
Ali Rahmet: [stands up.] I didn't try to say that. But I think you know that he is not innocent too, you're just avoiding that. But I don't judge you, he was your husband. You won't blame him and I'm not asking you to either.
[gets closer to her.] I came to tell you that you don't know the truth. You don't know what happened that night. You also don't know under what circumstances I shot him!
I, Yaman Hanim, spent 20 years in jail paying for a crime for which I was not entirely at fault. Your son did his best to send me to jail and he got it. And there is no turning back. I know that!
[looks at her with expressive eyes.]
All these years, you did not ask yourself, not once, what is the truth? What happened, what happened between him and me? What led me to such an act?
I think you didn't.
Hünkar: [says angrily.] Because there was no need to do so.
Ali Rahmet: There was a need to search for the truth, perhaps knowing the truth would not give you his life back, but maybe, you would have known what really happened. And you wouldn't be filling so much hatred in your heart towards me. Remember that you only know a part of the story. But what about the
other part, of my version, haven't you asked yourself?
Hünkar: [breathes deeply.] Of course I felt hatred towards you. And I also felt pain, for my son.
But, I forgave you years ago.
[looks at him.]
And no, don't think that I forgave you because I wanted to, I did it for my son. I forgave you, so that I could forget everything that happened. For Demir and I to start a new life, without rancor, without bad memories. And I, I can not assure you that Demir has forgiven you, because it is impossible. You killed his father. But don't expect him to either. He thinks you do not deserve it.
Ali Rahmet: Did you ... did you really forgave me? [looks at her with teary eyes.]
Hünkar: [looks at him and rolls her eyes.] Look, I think it's time for you to leave. I don't want to continue this conversation, it won't lead us to anything. Just go away. [avoids looking at him.]
Ali Rahmet: Ok, I will go. But I hope we can meet again. [says that and leaves. Opens the door, turns and look at her for a moment while she also looks at him and closes the door.]

Hünkar took a deep breath and she reached for her bag. She left the office and went straight to the house. She came home, greeted everyone, sat down to talk to her family. She acted as if nothing had happened.
After a while, everyone had dinner and retired to their bedrooms. Hünkar took his mother into the room, dressed her, put her to sleep, and said goodbye.

Then she went to her room, put on her night gown and sat in her chair. To think, again, of her day.
She couldn't believe it, after so long, the two confronted each other. They said what they had to say and still she felt an emptiness. She thought, she should have told him more. But at that moment she just wanted to assimilate everything he said to her. So she said very little compared to what he said.

Everything was well understood, but something that did not fit her, was what he said about the truth, which he repeated so much. What did she have or need to know about what happened that night? What if there is another part of what happened?
She was inadvertently questioning what she knew. And this led her to want to know the truth.
But today, they both had a CLASH OF WORDS that said more than facts. Who would have expected that? They said so many things yet so many more are left. What is destiny planning for them? She wonders.
