First Days (Un edited)

Picture of Delta ----------->

Beep Beep, The alarm clock that I haven't been using all sumer went off. It couldn't have chosen a worse time either I was in the middle of the most picture perfect dream where I was the point guard and everyone was shouting my name at school and everyone wanted to befriend me instead of a new geeky girl from a unheard of small town that everyone wanted to run away from. After I pressed the snooze botton reality struck, Summer vacation was over and I would be starting my sophomore year as the new girl. I got up not really wanting to and did my daily get ready routine which consisted of the usual; Cold FREEZING shower to wake me up, quick blow dry, Make up, and put on the clothes I'd picked out the other night. After getting ready I admired myself in the mirror feeling a bit vain, I was loving my dark violet skirt and enchanting white tanktop that matched so perfectly and of course flats, and a black belly high jacket to complete the look. My Mother got me the Jacket last year for my birthday and I'd made sure to take extra special care of it. I walked down stairs as if it were a runway ally.

"Jeez Delta it took you long enough, plastic surgeons work faster than that" My Dad Snapped. He was always cranky in the mornings, but he was being extra snarky today since it was also his first day as an offical business owner.

"Sorry Dad, I had to make sure I looked picture perfect for my first day at school" I said twirling once I got down.

"Oh, Honey you look cute, violet is such a lovely color on you" My mother gushed.

"Thanks Mom" I beemed at her.

My Dad cleared his throat and motioned me outside where the car was.

"She needs to eat breakfast first" My mother said pointing at the table.

"We don't have anytime" My dad said frustrated.

"Yeah, that's okay Mom I don't think I could eat with the way I'm feeling as well" I added.

"Okay, but make sure you buy something once you get there" My Mom demanded as she stuck 4 pop tarts and a milkshake in my bag.

"Okay, Thanks Mom" I said nodding and following after Dad.

My brothers didn't have to get a ride, since their school was a walking distance, I in the other hand got stuck with a school that only god knows what goes on at. I read an article that promoted the school for it's flawless acadamic records, but was really critical on the amount of absenses and drop out rate. I was too nervous to listen to my Dad's usual good lucks and be goods and was really glad when he pulled the car over to the school. I had to admit that the school was beautifully built and had alot of students.

"Bye Dad" I said giving him a quick kiss and rushing out of the car excited.

I mentally patted myself in the back for deciding to wear a skirt since most of the girls were, although theirs barely campared to the beauty of mine. I rated my self as an over all 9.2 which was excellent and crucial for the first day of a School that you are new at.

"Cute skirt" A spontaniously red headed girl said smiling.

"Thanks, I love your scarf if it RL" I asked already knowing the answer.

"Duh" The girl said smoothing her hair and tucking it behind her ears.

"Of course" I meeked.

"Hey, are you new" She suddenly asked.

"Is it that obvious" I asked feeling a bit self-concious.

"Not really, but I rarely see people have the guts to dress like that and actually pull it off" She said pointing at my out-fit.
