My undivided Attention

Coach Eric ---------->

"Faster ladies faster" coach Eric shouted for the millionth time.

"God what got shoved up his a**" Mina complained trying to keep up with me.

"I think he got the wrong address maybe he's supposed to be a military trainer" I joked slowing down a little. Mina chuckled.

"You know he dropped out of a military academy" she added.

"No" I gasped not believing it. There were a lot of things I'd call him most of them not so appropriate but quitter was not one of them.

"Mina stop distracting our new recruite with your non stop chattering" Coach Eric shouts.

"Sorry sir" Mina says running ahead of me. I ran after her.

"You're not lying. I mean he just up and left" I asked we were jogging side by side now.

"I don't really know the full story. Something about his old trainer being gay and confessing his undying love for him" Mina said as if it was a normal thing to say

"Well, now I get why he quit. That's gotta suck, but why take it out on us" I complained.

"You girls need to run faster! You're not walking in the mall" He shouts at us again. I sigh and Mina sticks the middle finger at him.

"You know I can have you suspended for that" he barks at her. I stop running and bust out laughing. Mina stop with me and wags her butt at him slapping it a couple of times which causes me to laugh even harder.

"Twerk it" one the girls in our team shouts as she runs past us. Mina starts laughing along with me. We were too busy laughing and catching our breaths that we didn't even notice someone approach us.

"You wanna do that again" He said.

I gasped but Mina just shrugged with a smirk.

"Mina, stop messing around and do what Coach told you to do" a familiar voice said. I turned around and smiled as I saw Ricky walking closer.

Mina stuck her tongue at him

"You're not the boss of me" she added walking off.

"Hey Ricky, what brings you by" I asked.

He just smiled and pointed at the field where there were a couple of guys huddled together. I caught Jackson's eye and he waved I waved back and he smirked nodding at my short shorts. I blushed and turned away from him. It was hot out there was no way I could practice in pants and these happen to be the only shorts I own.

"I'll get back to the team. Later Eric" Ricky said and waved a small wave at me before turning around I smiled at his back and didn't realize I was staring till coach Eric cleared his throat.

"Sorry, I'll get back to running" i say awkwardly and start walking back.

"Delta, you did enough running for the day" Coach said making me stop in my tracks.

"I did" I asked hesitate.

"Well, yeah I mean you ran six and a half miles already" he said with a small chuckle. I smiled and walked back to him.

"So what's next on the agenda" I said stopping in front of him.

"Next you girls will play against those boys over there. Although they won't do much playing" he said that last part quietly, but I still heard it. And my ears turned red as my face did.

"Alright ladies jog to the gym" he shouted making me wince and hold my ears.

"Oh, I'm sorry did that hurt" he asked.
