That morning Sophie woke up to something less than pleasant in her face. " Dex!" she yelled, her 'cousin' had woke her up by putting some weird yellow sludge on her face. It slid down her face as she sat up and chased him around the room. " What is this?!"
Dex looked back at her and laughed, " I came over to see you, and Iggy coughed this up so I took the opportunity to prank you."
" Dex! that was not funny!"
" I beg to differ." said a familiar voice. She spun around and faced the disheveled blonde in front of her. " Keefe! " she squealed and threw her arms around him. " What are you doing here?" " Elwin said I didn't have any physical injuries so he let me go, I'm just glad you're this excited to see me."
" Of course I am!" she exclaimed in joy," I slept by your side for a month in the healing center." he looked shocked. " Foster you don't have to do that for me."
" Yes I do," she demanded," you're my best friend," she then saw Dex pouting so she added," After Dex of course." This seemed to make him happy so she asked " Who wants Mallowmelt!" both the boys got looks on their faces like kids in a candy store and nodded before racing downstairs to confront Edaline. She ran after them and somehow they were already halfway through a plate of Mallowmelt and Edaline was handing them more. She rushed over to the table and grabbed the new plate to herself. " Hey, no fair!" Keefe shouted grabbing at the plate. " leave some for us!"
" You already had five slices!" she exclaimed.
" I would have had more, but you took it!" he shouted and grabbed her plate. Sophie glared at him until he caved in. " Fine have two slices, but only 'cause I love you" he answered. It was a joke but she still had to hide her blush behind her hair. Dex looked between the two of them giving them odd looks as they fought.
Eventually, after they finished their Mallowmelt Keefe stood up. " Sophie, can I talk to you," he asked and then noticed Edaline getting up too before adding, " alone, I might add." then he led her over to Calla's tree. This must be important she thought.
He sat down and patted the spot next to him. He looked at her a little before questioning her, " What happened with you and Fitzypoo?"
I know I know! you probably hate me for that one but the next couple chapters are really important for Sokeefe so I have to give you a cliffhanger. As Keefe would say, I pulled a classic Shannon. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed. Please vote. Although I have to warn you, in the next couple of chapters Fitz is a jerk, SOOoooOOOO BYE!!!!
