Rose's P.O.V
I took the lid off of the pot of chicken soup I had made for Enrique. He was still snoozing away as I poured the soup into a bowl.
It was now the next day and I am not excited to be searching for a new key. Honestly, I am just getting so bored here. It's the same routine everyday, wake up, eat, find the key, fight, shower and sleep.
Although last night was a bit different.
What he said was sweet and all but it doesn't change the fact that he is a total ass who treated me like shit. I may forgive him some time in the future but right now it's not going to happen. We just need to find the keys get out and continue our lives like normal.
Maybe even like an actual couple.
Once I actually forgive him. I opened the door to our room and frowned at him. He was awake and sat on the bed looking like actual death.
"Are you not feeling any better?" I said walking towards him, placing my hand on his forehead. He was no longer burning up, in fact he seemed fine now.
"I'm okay" he mumbled sleepily, laying his head on the headboard.
I nodded my head and placed the bowl of soup infront of him. He looked down at it and then looked back up at me.
"Feed me" he said, a smirk etched into his annoyingly perfect face.
"No ugly, feed yourself" I scoffed standing up ignoring the loud groan from behind me.
"Where are you going?" He questioned.
"To the closet" I mumbled, looking at the rows of clothes. Deciding that today I want to go comfy, I picked up a black hoodie along with my sweatpants. Once I walked out Enrique whistled at me.
"You look sexy" he spoke sarcastically with a grin on his face as he hungrily ate the soup.
"Thanks" I said, giving him the finger before taking out the pills from the drawer. I put them on the desk next to him and pointed to it, indicating that he must take them. He nodded and put the now empty bowl next to the pills.
I sat on the desk, that was on the opposite side of the room, staring at Enrique's relaxed figure. Fiddling with my fingers I remembered the times he had neglected and hurt me during the two months I had stayed with him. I literally signed off my life for my parents happiness. That's a bit stupid isn't it? Letting my parents still have control over me even though I was now 24 years old.
Looking back up I saw Enrique staring directly at me with curiosity swirling in his eyes.
"A penny for your thoughts?" He said tilting his head giving me a small grin.
"No" I said shaking my head to which he frowned.
"I need to go find the next key" I said standing up. I was still gutted about the fact that I was unable to find the previous one. So much so that I vowed to spend every hour trying to find the next ones.
"No we don't" Enrique said making me turn around and frown.
"What do you mean?" I said crossing my arms.
"When you went to make me my soup like the lovely little wife you are" he spoke sitting up from his laying position as I rolled my eyes at his choice of words.
"Mama had told me that we have a day off today" he said making my frown deepen.
That just means another day in this shithole.
"Damn don't be so overjoyed" Enrique muttered rolling his eyes before walking up to me.
"I guess I'll look for yesterday's key then" I said once he was stood infront of me. I turned around to open the door but was stopped when I was softly pulled back into a very hard surface.
