Rose's P.O.V
"There is no way that there are skeletons here, maybe there was something else in that vampire show that you missed" Enrique said as I rolled my eyes.
He still believes that I didn't see skeletons yesterday and is adamant on going back to the room, which is stupid and obviously makes sense coming from him because duh, he's stupid.
"Enrique, if you complain one more time, I will make you feel pain in places you didn't know even existed" I said, tightening my hold on his hand as an extra... warning.
"Noted" he mumbled before staying quiet.
Now, if only I can find the freaking place.
I continued my trek, taking turns left and right until I came along a familiar corridor. Down the hallway, I could see curtains in a circular position as if... as if it was hiding skeletons! Jumping up and down I ran forward and pulled them aside with a big smile on my face. That smile soon dropped as I shuddered at the aroma of... death.
Behind me, Enrique was staring down with his mouth slightly ajar as I had a smug smile on my face. Hah, I'm right, like always.
"And how do you propose we get down there"?" He asked as I looking at him weirdly.
"You see skeletons of literal people and that's all you have to say" I said crossing my arms, judging him.
Why is he not phased like at all? Has he seen skeletons before?
"Yes" was his short and curt response.
Right then.
"Um well I don't know, there should be steps leading down or something" I said putting my hands on the railings, trying to find a secret passageway of some sorts.
"Great, fantastic work Rose" he mocked me, crossing his arms as he looked around the hallway.
Alright no need for the attitude you fat shit of ungrateful donkey. Honestly, I'm so under appreciated in this household like what the freak.
I'm amazing.
Ugh I should've just became an independent business women, God knows I don't need Enrique.
"Stand still" he said wrapping a rope around my waist.
Wait, wrapping a what.
"What the fuck are you doing Enrique!" I screamed slapping his hands away from my waist. Where did he even get a rope from?
"I said stand still" he said sternly before tightening the rope after knotting it.
"Someone has to go down and I highly doubt your ability to hold my weight, so I'm going to lower you down and you can try find the key, understood?" He said as if we were simply talking about the weather.
"No, I could die!" I squealed looking at him with wide eyes.
"Don't be such a Dante" he said pushing me towards the railing.
I am most definitely not a Dante!
"Enrique, you can't be serious, stop this right now!" I said with a firm voice but on the inside I was screaming my head off. He's going to drop me and then I'm going to plummet down to my wholeass death, I know it!
"I'm always serious, stop fidgeting and relax" he said putting his hands on my waist before lifting me as if I was as light as a feather.
I screamed and held onto his collar refusing to let go. If this man thinks i will let him throw me over this railing he must be downright delusional!
