Quarantined // A.I (completed)

Ashton had everything set for the album release live stream tonight. His record was on the player, he had candles that were ready to be lit, and he had his laptop fully charged.  All we had to do now was wait around for 9 pm.

Ashton had been beaming all day so far. He couldn't control his excitement. He and the boys have worked so hard on this album and he just wanted his fans to hear it. I, of course, have already heard it and couldn't be prouder. It's amazing.

My classes for today got cancelled which allowed me to hang out with Ashton. We've worked things out to where we actually get to spend time together, not just sleep together.

We had already gotten up and worked out, going for a nice run around the neighborhood (obviously avoiding people). Ashton made us breakfast then we split for a bit. He went down to his studio and I went out back to tan and read a book.

Really we were just killing some time. Our friends were coming over soon. We are all going to hang out in the driveway- 6ft apart- and eat pizza. It's giving the boys a chance to see each other before their album live stream tonight.

I started to get bored by myself, so I ran inside and changed then went down to bug Ashton. He was sitting at his desk listening to demo tracks on his computer. He looked so focused and the glasses he was wearing made him adorable.

I walked in and went and sat on Ashton's lap, straddling his thighs and laying my head in his neck. He chuckled but wrapped his arms around me.

"I know you just walked down here, but our friends are almost here" he told me as he rubbed my back.

"Then you get to carry me upstairs" I mumbled into his neck. He laughed and scooted out of his chair. My arms tightened around his neck and my legs went around his waist so it was easier to carry me up.

We walked outside as Michael and Crystal pulled up. Ashton and I set up by the garage while they sat a little to the side.

Soon they were all there and each couple had a pizza box that Luke and Sierra picked up. Calum and Grace were the last to arrive but were the ones who sat closest to us.

The boys had a serious 5 minute conversation about the stream tonight but then their conversation turned to shit and they were keeping score on "who was getting it" the most while in quarantine and making bets on who was going to have a kid by the end of quarantine.

Us girls were talking about what all we were going to do after quarantine, how stressed the boys are, then about school for Grace and me.

"Oh me and Mike have been making a shit ton of Tik Toks" Crystal spiked up. That gained the boys attention.

"Oh my god. I have a ton saved in my drafts of Ash and I" I laughed. Ashton laughed nervously,

"I'm the Tik Tok king now" he shrugged.

"You should see Calum do them. We can hardly get through one without laughing" Grace was now crying with laughter.

"Luke is so lanky he always messes up the feet movements" Sierra joked.

The boys got back on topic of their livestream and settled the order. Ashton was going first. He's good in situations like that. He knows how to use his words and express his gratitude and excitement.

Everyone left to get home to get ready for their end of the live stream. Ashton was already set up of course. We made dinner- well chicken nuggets- and ate then headed to get ready for the night.

Ashton and I hopped in the shower and quickly washed. After getting out, I through on some shorts and Ashton's long sleeve. He put on these stupid red joggers and a gray shirt that fit around his arms perfectly. We settled in the kitchen, just waiting around for 9 pm.

When the clock hit 8:55, Ashton logged onto the band account on his phone. We couldn't get it to work on his laptop. I was laughing hard as Ashton was trying to set his phone up on the counter. He was failing miserably. I felt sorry for him so I walked out and got his phone mount from his car and brought it back. Ashton looked at me weird.

"Stick it to your laptop and shut up" I told him. He laughed and did like I said and began his stream.

"Woooo! It's working" he cheered once his face popped up and people joined, "I'm just gonna wait a minute for people to join" he grinned and glanced at me. I was sitting behind the counter on my phone.

He started on his rant then mid sentence yelled my name, startling me,

"Get the wine" he whispered shouted so that the people watching still heard him, "Yeah. She's here. She's actually going to be moving in with me" I watched Ashton grin answering what I'm assuming was a question about me.

I grabbed the wine, choosing my favorite, and poured two glasses for us and gave Ashton his.

"Okay, I'm gonna start the record. I hope you like it" Ashton smiled and started the player then leaving the stream and coming around by me.

He took the glass from my hand and put it down on the counter then wrapped his arms around my waist as mine snaked up around his neck,

"Now, me and you are going to dance around the living room" he grinned

"Already quoting one of the new songs" I smiled and leaned up to connect our lips.
