Chapter 4
It's been almost two weeks since I talked to Coach Byrd pero until now gusto ko pa rin ibaon sa lupa ang sarili ko sa sobrang hiya.
"Is it that important?" Coach Byrd asked.
"N-No. Not really, Coach," I answered.
I smiled awkwardly. "A-Ah, kasi Coach..." I trailed, thinking of the best reason. He's looking at me calmly pero sa tingin ko... deep inside minumura niya na ako sa utak niya kasi sinasayang ko ang time niya.
"Kasi?"
Ngumiti ako ng alanganin. This is it!
I just chose the one na medyo hindi naman ako gaanong mapapahiya... Sana.
"Ah, kasi Coach... Can you tell Coach Ramil na I can't go to training later?" I bowed my head, hindi ko na hinintay pang makasagot siya. "Thank you po!"
I ran out of Razon and just stopped when I finally got, I held my chest. I didn't even try to look at the G.A or other coaching staffs na nakarinig nung stupidity ko, the only thing I wanted was to go out of that Razon.
Like who freaking does that?
Asking a coach for a favor, na hindi ko naman coach. Then ran out like an idiot without properly thanking him is so rude. I can't even send him a message sa sobrang hiya. And of course, I also kept avoiding G.A inside and outside the school kasi they were there. They heard what I said!
Feeling ko kapag nakasalubong nila ako, pagtatawanan nila ako sa hallway or sa kung saan man!
I told my friends about that. Thankfully, ang cooperative nila ngayon. Pagdating sa school, we go straight ahead sa rooms namin. We're having lunch outside the school, and hindi rin kami natambay sa lounge. After classes, pare-pareho kaming may training.
Tangerine said while packing her things.
"True! The sacrifices we made will be wasted!" sabi naman ni Blythe. Tangerine nodded in agreement.
Ang O.A talaga!
I rolled my eyes at them. "Whatever, girls. But thank you though, really..." I sincerely said. Kasi if it wasn't for them, magiging loner sana ako for weeks.
