Halos mag-iisang bwuan na mula noong huling encounter namin ni Kax. I already submitted my resignation letter the day after we argue but unfortunately she wouldn't accept it. She even talk to Acy just to convince me to still go to the office untill my contract ends. Naka-perma na daw kasi ako ng 6 months contract and there's no way she would revoke it. Saka na daw ako magpasa ng RL after my contract.

So wala akong choice but to stay in this freakin' situation. Everyday was a struggle for the both of us. Halos hindi rin kami nagkikita except kapag nagpapatawag sya ng meeting with our department. Hindi rin kami masyadong nag-iinter act if it's not really necessary. Whenever she passes by in my cubicle, a simple good morning and good afternoon were more than enough. It was as if we barely exist in each others life anymore.

Ngayon ko lang na internalized ng mabuti na pumapasok na lang ako ng opisina para sa sweldo ko. Dati kasi may inspiration pa ako to go to the office everyday. I have my reasons of waking up everyday and be excited in going to work. But now, all the rush and the excitement was totally gone. I'm now doing it for a living. And this is totally boring.

Kung ilang babae na rin yung nakikita kong kalandian nya at dinadala sa opisina. The old Kassandra is back as what my officemate would say. Ngayon ko lang nakikita yung totoong Kassandra that I broke 8 years ago. Maybe I deserve this shit. I made her to be like this. Kaya kung nasasaktan man ako ngayon sa mga ginagawa nya, 'coz honestly I am still fucking in love with her, well I kinda deserved this dahil hindi naman sya magiging ganito kung naging matapang lang ako noon para sa aming dalawa.

Pero at least ngayon nawawala na yung mga tensyon sa mga kasamahan ko dito sa trabaho. Dumami yung mga naging ka-close namin nila Andrew at Sheena. Mas okay na rin siguro ito. I may have lost Kassandra forever but at least meron namang mga kaibigan na handang magcomfort sa akin. Okay na din yun.

"Babe, are you okay?" I almost forgot we're here at Acy's private resort sa Tagaytay. It's there 6th monthsary and they choose to celebrate it with our group of friends.

"Yeah! I'm fine." I just gave Anne a wry smile.

"I just want you to know that I'm happy na pinagbigyan mo ako. You know this is kinda important to me. You're my bestfriend and I want to celebrate every milestone I step."

"Yeah! Of course, I wouldn't miss this you know. So are you sure 'bout this?" Tanong ko naman sa kanya. I just want to make sure na this is what she want. Besides, this is a big step for their relationship.

"Yeah. I'm pretty sure about this, babe. Besides, we're not getting any younger." Nakangiti naman nitong sagot. Happiness and contentment was undenibly visible in her eyes.

"So tuluyan mo na akong iiwan sa apartment?"

"Hahaha wag kang OA babe. We will still hangout you know. Nothing will ever change except doon na ako uuwi sa condo ni Acy."

"Hahaha okay. It's fine with me. I'm really happy for you, babe. Finally you're being mature in your relationship and I'm happy that you finally found the love of your life." Halos mangiyak-ngiyak kong sabi sa kanya. For 5 years I get used to the idea that we live in the same roof but now she will take a different path now. Masaya ako na nakahanap sya ng taong mahal na mahal nya at mahal na mahal din sya at ready to take their relationship into the next level. But at the same time nalulungkot ako dahil magkakahiwalay na kami. Ang lagay ehh loner na talaga ako sa apartment.

"Sus! Wag ka nga umiyak baka di kita maiwan eh. 'Lika nga dito hehehe." Sabay hila sa balikat ko and then we hugged.

"Hahaha wag naman magagalit sakin si Gracey." Magkayakap pa din kami habang nakaupo sa buhangin sa may tabi ng dagat.
