Helping a Missing Soul(Finding Love I: ErrorInk)

Chapter 10

Error waited, taking the time to come up with a way to make Ink feel envy.  He could handle small touches, but would it be worth it if Ink didn't get envious?  If it didn't work, what else could he do?  Eventually, Error decided to say fuck it and try the only thing he could think of: getting Lust to flirt with him around Ink.  It was either that or have Lust rage on about "spending time" with Error, even if they really hadn't.

He opened a portal to wherever Lust was, only enough so they could talk instead of giving the creep the chance to touch him.  Lust saw the portal almost immediately and leaned through it.

"Hello, there~"

"Stop-p with that.  I-I-I need to know if-if you ca-can do someth-th-thing for me."

"And what would that be?"

"I nee-eed you to make-ke-ke Ink envious.  Whe-whether its flirting-ting-ting with me in front of-f him, or just yo-yo-you talking about me, I n-need it done."

"Say no more, my dear.  I'd be glad to~"

Lust stepped away from the portal, allowing Error to close it without slicing any part of him off.  Now he just had to sit and wait.

Ink had been visiting UnderFell with Blue, as he had wanted to see Red, when Lust seemed to come out of nowhere.  Ink was quick to have Blue run to Red's, not wanting him to hear whatever inappropriate things Lust said.

"Hello, darling~"

"Don't call me that.  What are you here for?"

"Well, I was just wondering if you had..." he cleared his throat. "Taken Error yet."

"And why would that be any of your business?"

"Because I'm interested in him and, if he hasn't been taken, then he will be soon."

"No."

"So he's not taken?~"

"I wasn't saying no to that, I was saying no to you."

"What do you mean?"

"You won't touch him!" Ink didn't know what he was feeling and he didn't care.  He wasn't gonna let this freak touch Error.  Ever.

"And you'll stop me how?"

"I just will.  Now go back to your AU and leave Error alone!"

"Alright.  Ta ta~"

Ink watched him disappear again before quickly making his way to find Red and Blue.  When he found them, he told Blue that he had to go do something and it might be a while, but made sure that Red could take Blue back to Swap whenever he was ready.  Then, he went to Error's antivoid.

It had only been about 15 minutes since he had talked to Lust and Ink already appeared.  He seemed angry but, luckily, it wasn't toward Error.  The squid sat down next to Error and crossed his arms before randomly blurting no.

"Is... some-ome-omething wrong, Ink?"

"Yes!"

"What is-is-is it?"

Ink was quiet for a few seconds before bringing his knees up and setting his arms on them.

"Lust wants to take you..."

"Oh... an-and there's a pro-pro-problem with that...?"

"Ya... I don't know what it was... but I felt it when he was talking about taking you..."

"Were-re-re you feelin-ling envious...?"

"Is... is that what that feeling is...?"

"I thi-think so..."

Ink quietly set his head on his arms.  Despite his haphephobia, Error leaned over and hugged Ink.  Ink immediately stilled, not wanting to make him crash in the few seconds that the hug lasted.

"It's alright... I woul-oul-ouldn't go with him-m anyway..."

"I know..."
