Chapter five

Third person's POV

Their kissing was getting really hot,out of control.

Ava push him off immediately she regained her sense and face palmed herself.

Dian

tried to touch her but she keep shifting back.

She was clearly afraid of him.

"Don't....don't come near me please" she begged quietly.

"I didn't hurt you,did I? He asked and she shook her head.

After finding out that she's probably scared of him he smirked and picked up the cup of tea on the counter and left the kitchen.

Ava was so scared that immediately Dian left the kitchen she ran back to her room.

She locked her door and cried her eyes out.

"Why am I stuck with him?
Why does it have to be me of all women in the world?"

This are the questions she keep asking herself.

She knelt down beside her bed,her face buried on her bedsheets as she cried bitterly.

Dian went back to the sitting room and sat down on the couch.
Remembering what transpired between him and Ava in the kitchen he can't help it but smile.

"Something good? Blaine asked

"No,just remembered something amusing" he replied and chuckle.

"Why did you have her? Blaine questioned

"Her father is owing me millions of money, I didn't plan of having her but the first time we met just didn't go as planned" he replied and shrugged

"What at you going to do with her? Seriously I thought you are in love but it seems like I was wrong" Blaine said disappointedly which cause Dian to laugh.

"When you're done staying don't forget the door" He said climbing up the staircase.

Ava slept off while crying in her room,she was sad.

Dian's POV

After changing into my sweatpants and a black shirt i went inside my study.

I put a call across to one of my boys.

"Hello boss"

"Have you got him? I asked

"Yes boss,he is here with us"

"Make sure you torture him until I get there tomorrow morning" I commands before hanging up.

Blake should have known better than to play games with me.

After replying emails and reading some files I went back inside my room.

I should check up on Ava.

I left my room and headed to hers,I turned the knob but it was locked.

Why did she lock the door?

I knocked on the door and waited for some minutes before the door was unlocked.

I pushed it open and went in,there she was beside the door looking at me like she just say a ghost.

"Don't give me that look" I said sternly and she lowered her gaze.

"Look at me sweetheart" I commands and she did look at me.
Her eyes looks puffy and red.

Has she been crying?

"Were you crying? I asked walking closer to her as she keep moving back.

She shook her head without looking at me.

She look vulnerable right now,how sweet!

"Look at me Ava" and she did.

"You might not know but I am pregnant,so whatever you are planning can't work with me" she managed to say while looking me straight in the eyes.

"I know" I simply replied

"Wha....what! How? She exclaimed

"I have my ways of knowing things Ava Blake, you don't have to be surprised" I said casually.

"Oh" she wrapped her arms protectively around her stomach.

She thought that I might harm her baby.

I have a gift that can answer all your questions Ava Blake" I said and her face lit up.

"Really? Please show me" she begged.

I dial a number,my eyes still fixed on Ava.

"Fixed the video recorder" I said to the mouthpiece then turn on my iPod.

Immediately a live video came in.

I handed the iPod to Ava and lay back studying her expression.

"Papa" she muttered under her breath.
Immediately her eyes became red.
She was battling with tears.

"Why are you holding my dad captive and torturing him like this" she asked as tears roll down her cheek.

"Mr Blake can you please tell your daughter,no I mean ex daughter what's going on" I said sarcastically.

"When my business need some money for uplifting and I got no money,I came to Mr Lawson for help.

He did help me after I agreed to pay him after six months but I couldn't pay back" he said and stopped talking.

"Continue! I yelled

"I wanted to use you as a contract with him but suddenly you became pregnant and I was so mad at you"

I grab the iPod from her and turned it off.

She stare at me .

"Is that ....why you brought me here? She stuttered.

"Yes!

Ava's POV

Why?
Why will papa want to use me as a contract huh?

"So what do you want now? You have me now and have my dad too,are you going to kill him and also probably kill me too! I yelled.

Okay that's the first time I will be yelling at him.
His eyes darkened immediately,he grab my neck and pin me to the wall.

"Let me go" I whimpered.

His hand tightened around my neck and choked on my breath.

I became sorry for myself,why on earth did I yell at Dian Lawson?

If he want he can kill me and nothing will be done about it.

"Am sorry" I muttered.
His eyes softened and he release his hand from my neck.

I fell on the ground and gasp.
He really want to choke me to death.

"Don't you ever yell at me sweetheart,yell at your dad instead" he said and walk out if the room.

I am living with the devil himself,so it is true that he kills for fun.

Oh my baby.
