Yesterday had been less than eventful, but it still wore Grace out. She surprisingly slept in, waking up around noon. The minute she had stirred from her sleep, she could smell an awful stench that seemed to emit from her own body. Man, I need to take a shower. She smelled like onions and sweat. She practically rolled out of bed and headed straight for the bathroom. She lazily turned on the water and washed up, staying in there for nearly half an hour. She spent most of that time debating getting out, though once she finally did, she immediately regretted it. The brisk air hit her wet body hard, causing her to shiver and ball herself up into a towel. When she was done, she had put her pajamas back on, simply because she had no idea what they were all doing today, if they'll be doing anything at all. If Grace was just gonna stay at home, she might as well stay comfy.
She stepped down the stairs and into the living room, quickly drawing the attention of Emma. She had been alone in the kitchen, everyone else presumably having better things to do. The blonde woman had been sipping on a cup of coffee. Luckily for Grace's sake, there wasn't any left in the pot so she wouldn't be all hyped up like she was once before. Perhaps another day.
"Good morning." Emma greeted, drawing her attention back towards her.
"Morning." Grace said back before lazily tumbling down onto the couch. "So, what's on the docket?" She said in a rich accent, obviously trying to act as if she were royalty--oh, wait.
Emma placed her mug down onto the counter, "Henry and I are going to have lunch with Neal, if you wanna come."
Upon hearing that, her head perked up through the couch cushions, a small grin slowly creeping up on her face. "Huh. Family reunion." She thought out loud, almost instantly hearing the sigh that left Emma's figure. She regretted mentioning anything to Grace. "Sure, what could go wrong?"
"A lot, as long as you're there." She said, earning an offended look from her sister. "Go get dressed; we'll be leaving soon." She rushed Grace out of the room, seeming to want to leave as soon as possible.
"Someone's in a hurry to meet lover boy." Grace acknowledged, and upon seeing the red that dusted Emma's cheeks, she knew that she must've been right.
"I'm not--" Too late, she was already up the stairs and in her room. Grace couldn't hear a single word Emma said, only an audible sigh that told her that she had given up on their short conversation. Oh well; for another time.
The teen got dressed quickly, she herself excited to see Neal again. It's always nice to meet with old friends, even if she was constantly trying to hook him and Emma up again. She had decided to change into a black long sleeved shirt along with her black leather pants and black combat boots. Is it weird that her entire outfit is black? I guess you could say she was really feeling the goth vibe today.
Grace decided to leave her hair down, actually liking the small waves that flowed down her back. She trudged back downstairs, Emma quickly coming back into her line of vision. After seeing her, she soon noticed David there as well. The two seemed to be in a slightly heated argument, though it was quick to end as Emma turned away and headed over towards the coat rack.
Grace stopped at the bottom of the stairs, looking between the two of them before asking, "Ready?"
Emma only sighed as she pulled on her coat, "Yeah. Henry's waiting at the car."
Grace nodded at that before she, too, turned and pulled her own coat on--that was, dare I say it, black--seeing as how the temperature was below freezing outside. While she did this, she turned to see David, him almost giving Emma a regretful look. She decided to ignore the expression and simply nodded in his direction. "I'll see you guys later!" Grace called out before turning and walking out the door, Emma soon following behind Grace.
