Grace left Emma and Hook to talk for a minute and waited for either of them to return to camp. After a few minutes, Emma eventually did, and so the girl quickly went off in the direction she had come from. Grace walked passed a few trees before seeing Hook sat beside one, his flask glued to his lips as he gazed up at the stars in delight. She gave him an odd look before stepping forwards, firmly drawing his attention. "We need to talk." She started with. Grace could see that he knew she meant business. She narrowed her eyes at his figure and watched as he frowned at Grace before straightening up. "You took David to the cure, didn't you?" The statement was abrupt, and upon seeing Hook's reaction, it was clearly unexpected.
"What?" Was the first thing he muttered, when he suddenly gained a very stern look. "...You knew he was shot." He sounded surprised and a bit suspicious of her knowledge on the subject. She didn't doubt that he was, though she didn't want to say anymore on the matter.
"Answer my question." She demanded, causing him to take a deep breath in.
He nodded reluctantly as he looked to the ground. "Aye, I did." She could hear the hesitance in his voice. It was clear that he didn't want this information to get out, but it would be inevitable when they would all try and leave the island.
Grace could feel her heart race, in fear of this information being true--it was true. "But if he took the cure, then he can't leave Neverland..." She let out.
"He knew the cost when he drank the water." He went on to explain, "He promised to get you all off this island, even if it meant sacrificing his own freedom." She sighed through her nose and shut her eyes as she took in this information. She couldn't tell if she was saddened by her father's newfound fate, or maybe even thankful because her father was alive. She didn't know what to do. Hook realized this, though that didn't stop him from asking the question she dreaded most. "What I want to know is how you knew he was shot."
Grace reluctantly looked back at him, unsure of what to say. She just stood there, her mouth opening and closing after each second as she tried to come up with what to say. Unfortunately, she was never able to, as a third voice suddenly joined in. "I'm surprised you didn't keep your mouth shut." Immediately after hearing this, her blood ran cold. Her face fell into one of anger and Grace quickly spun on her heel to face the smirking boy.
"What the hell could you possibly want now?" She snarled out, to which Pan raised his hands in mock surrender. Even when doing this, he continued to grin and look Grace up and down in humor.
"Oh, I don't want anything." He let out, to which she only narrowed her eyes back at him. "Just decided to see how you were doing with your family, given the circumstances." He walked around Grace like he still had control over her. She looked down at what he said and Grace could sense the suspicious look Hook gave off.
Instead of allowing him to say anything, Grace turned back towards the boy who now stood between them both. "You saw, now go." If his intentions had anything to do with telling Hook about what she had done, how she was the one responsible for the poison rushing through her father's blood, then she was sure to stop him. Pan realized this, though the knowing look on his face told Grace that that wasn't why he was here.
"Not yet." He let out before turning back in Hook's general direction, all the while keeping his eyes trained on Grace. "I have something to say to you first. Both of you. And I want to know just what the two of you would do given a big, fat secret." He sounded out each syllable viciously, as if words were supposed to scare them. Grace crossed her arms as she looked him up and down quizzically, whereas Hook only shrugged.
"Well, that depends what the secret is." He spoke before taking yet another swig of his rum. Something told Grace that he was going to need it after Pan was through with them.
