Soonyoung poV:
I could feel the light trying to hit my pupils, so opened my eyes. I was laying in my room. Since I still had a headache I tried to get up as slowly as possible. I looked around my room and it seemed like always. This time no one was in my room to greet me after I woke up. How much time passed this time? Three days? Or four?
I got up and left my room. In the hallway I saw a small, pink haired guy, hiding his face with the hood of his black hoodie. Did I travel in time or why is his hair pink again? Nonetheless I was happy to see him again, especially after that trip to hell.
"Jihoon!", I exclaimed happily. He looked at me in disbelieve, completely speechless, but with sparkling eyes. Then he suddenly ran up to me, hugging me tightly. "Ey, I can't breathe", I laughed, still hugging him back. He then backed away, his cheeks turning red while looking on the floor. Then suddenly his eyes changed and he glared at me. "What's with that look?", I asked, a little nervous over the sudden change of atmosphere.
"I thought you're dead!", he started punching me.
"Ow! Hey! Calm down!", I yelled in pain, pouting when he finally stopped hitting me. "What was that for?", I questioned, caressing the shoulder he hit.
"You were gone for a week", he responded.
"What?! What about caratland?", I asked surprised.
"Is that the right thing to worry about now?", he asked in disbelieve.
"You're right. How are Minghao and Seungkwan?", I asked another question, remembering their bruises and wounds.
"They got treatment at the hospital. Seungkwan's broken arm's going to be fine again, but they said that Minghao's burn will leave scars", Jihoon looked down. I did the same.
"You need to greet the others", Jihoon changed the topic and dragged me along. We went from the hotel to the food court. Caratland was strangely calm.
"Why is no one here?", I asked Jihoon.
"Seungcheol decided to close caratland for the time being as you were unconscious and the others needed to calm down from the event", he replied. At the food court the others including the ones, who went to the city except Chan sat at one table eating hamburgers. The atmosphere seemed oppressive as no one said a word. They still didn't notice Jihoon and me, when we approached them.
"The same night you passed out Seungcheol called the others to tell them what happened. They immediately made their way here", Jihoon explained."Guys, I don't feel like eating", Seokmin uttered.
"Me too", Hansol agreed.
"He will wake up and until then we gotta stay healthy. Soonyoung wouldn't like to see us all depressed like that", Jeonghan tried to loose the atmosphere, but also seemed sad.
"Guys", I stopped their conversation. Everyone turned to me, but stayed speechless, making me smile a little.
"I think I'm crazy now. I can even hear his voice", Mingyu said.
"Is you dumb?", Wonwoo questioned, turning Mingyu's head to my direction.
"Soonyoung!", Mingyu exclaimed happily.
"Are you okay? You didn't lose a part of your brain?", Jisoo questioned, standing up from his seat and shaking me by my shoulders.
"I'm fine", I laughed.
"We were so worried!", Seungcheol exclaimed.
"Especially Jihoon. He didn't sleep a bit the last week", Jeonghan added, making Jihoon's cheeks turn red. Now I could also see his dark circles under his eyes.
"I'm sorry for making you worry", I apologized, looking on the floor. "And thanks for saving me", I added murmuring.
"It's fine. Because of you we became heroes", Hansol joked.
"It's not funny! Y'all got hurt because of me", I shook my head. Seungkwan had a gypsum around his right under arm, which was supported by his shoulder and Minghao's left arm was covered with a long, white bandage, hiding his wound.
"Who cares about the scars! The mental ones are way deeper than this. Also doesn't it look kinda cool?", Minghao grinned, showing off the bandages.
"Yeah, Minghao's right. My arm's going to heal anyway. Honestly I would be more annoyed if I were Wonwoo", Seungkwan shrugged his shoulders.
"Don't say that. I can still redo it next year", Wonwoo murmured.
"Wonwoo and Mingyu had to cancel the program since they were worried about you", Jihoon explained. They were all worried and sincerely cared for my well being. Even risking their lives to get mine safely out. I really didn't deserve these people.
"Wow, Soonyoung", Junhui stuttered. Now I get why he was so surprised. Tears were quietly rolling down my cheeks. I quickly wiped them away.
"Sorry, got a little emotional here", I mumbled, still smiling a little.
"I think it's my first time seeing Soonyoung expressing his sadness", Hansol uttered.
"I'm not sad. I'm just really thankful. I mean because of me y'all hurt", my voice cracked.
"Stop saying that! It's not even your fault", Jihoon bursted out.
"Yeah, it's all because of that psycho kid", Minghao shook his head.
"Stop calling him like that", Junhui tapped his shoulder.
"How should I call him then? He tried to kill Soonyoung because he's jealous of whatsoever! That kid doesn't deserve another name", Minghao crossed his arms. Everyone stopped talking then, looking awkwardly on the table.
"Let's finish eating", Seungcheol took the word. They all did what Seungcheol said except for me and Jihoon. I bid goodbye with the others and went to the harbour with Jihoon."He didn't came out of his room the last week. Seungcheol regularly checks up on him, but no one really talked to him", Jihoon explained. We sat down at the border of the bridge, letting our feet hang out, which almost touched the water. I didn't know what to say. I just felt extremely betrayed by Chan. Somewhere inside of me I still wanted to like him, but my mind was so against it and I knew that it told me right. Why would you trust a person, who tried to kill you?
"Let's not talk about him", I stretched myself. "I just woke up from my hibernation", I joked, making him smile a little bit. But his smile quickly faded, as he looked down to the water again, drifting deep in his thoughts. "But why are you so quiet today?", I turned to Jihoon. He kept quiet for a second, but then went on to say something.
"I'm just wondering about something. It's just that- nevermind", he cut himself off, shaking his head.
"Tell me", I said, looking at him.
"It's nothing. I'm just tired", he yawned. I looked back to the front, observing the city from the far. The weather wasn't the best as the gray clouds and the thick fog almost made the city invisible. It was a little windy and it seemed as if it'll get dark in a few hours. A week ago I would've escaped to the warmth, but as of today I just wanted to appreciate the scenery. It's such a great feeling to be back and safe.
