Over 100 years ago, you were best friends with Prince Sidon of Zora's Domain and Link. You were just children then, when you met. Sidon was a bit older than both you and Link, but you were all still very close.
Everyone thought the three of you were the cutest as kids. You could even recall a couple memories from your childhood with them.
Your Childhood POV ~
"I bet I could swim up the waterfall faster than you!" Sidon exclaimed.
"Nu-uh!" Link denied it.
"Race you!"
You watched the two of them try to get up, but neither of them made it. You laughed a bit. A splash could be heard, and next thing you know, Sidon's elder sister Mipha was leaping above you. She gave both boys a lift up so they both hit the ground at the same time.
"Good job boys! But remember, practice makes perfect!" Mipha laughed.
You were laughing and Mipha came over and sat beside you.
"You three are quite the trio!" She smiled.
"I guess we are." You smirked.
You guys watched the boys playfully wrestle at the top. Mipha yelled for them to be careful. They didn't listen, and before you knew it, Sidon came falling towards the water. But then Mipha leaped into action, catching him before he hit the water and taking him safely to land. She also went up to collect Link.
"Why don't you try swimming up with us, _____?" Sidon asked you.
"Maybe next time I will." You took a sip of your juice.
"Sounds great! I'll teach you how to swim better if you'd like too!"
"That sounds fun. Thanks, Sidon!" You two laughed and Link was climbing on the the land to join you, and then Mipha just swam through the water on her back. She looked so calm.
Another Childhood POV ~
"_____!" You heard Sidon calling you. You got up and looked out the window, and he and Link were already waiting so the three of you could get some icecream.
You dashed out the door and ran right into Sidon.
"Hey _____!" He laughed. You smiled and then the three of you went to get some icecream.
"Hey Link." Sidon licked his icecream.
"What?"
"I bet you that you can't -"
"No more betting!"
The three of you turned around, looking at the woman who gave you icecream. She took a hat off. It was Mipha!
"Mipha!" Sidon ran into her arms and you and Link said hi and started laughing.
"You guys need to stop betting on everything all the time!" Mipha chuckled.
"But we like to!" Sidon whined.
"Then how about you just take a break and enjoy your icecream? You can bet on stuff later."
"Okay!" Sidon said as he squirmed in his sister's arms. She put him down and he sat back down and ate his icecream.
Your POV when you lost the battle ~
"_____! Be careful!" Sidon yelled.
"I know what I'm doing Sidon!" You loved that he just wanted to protect you, but you knew what you were doing. Or so you thought.
You were about 20 years old, and Sidon was about the same height as you know. He was growing faster than you, but for now he was about the same height. You showed grace as you fought. Sidon showed strength. But while you were busy paying attention to Sidon's strategies, you got a good whack from the soldier's blade that your foe was wielding.
Sidon saw it happen right away. He destroyed his foe quickly, then yours just so he could get you somewhere to heal. He took you to Robbie. He got you healed up and recommended not fighting any more battles for a while.
Your luck? The Great Calamity happened a month later. You wanted to get out amd fight with Link. Sidon didn't want you to. But you went out anyways.
Fighting Ganon ~
"_____?!" Sidon looked shocked to see you out on the battle field.
"Hey Sidon!" You chirped.
"What are you doing here?"
"Helping."
"You're not fully healed yet! You took in a big blow back at the Colluseum! It's barely even been a month!"
"Sidon, relax." Link jumped over ganon trying to attack but it proved useless. "I'm sure she'll be fine. But really, _____, be careful okay?"
"I will." You promised. You should've listened to Sidon. You took a big hit and so did Link.
The sheikah came to save Link and get him to the Shrine of Resurrection. Leaving your life in Sidon's hands. There was a place he knew of that was under the Domain. Like the Shrine of Resurrection, but the healing proccess was a bit different. A bit longer. Sidon took you there, and that's where you healed for 104 years.
