Chapter 7 - Telling The Parents Part 1

Maya looked at her mother while she didn't know what to do.
She didn't actually know how she wanted to tell Katy she is going to become a grandmother but she also knew she just had to get it out with.

"So can I ask you a question?" Maya asked and Katy nod.
"How does it feel to be 33 and welcoming your first grandchild in July?" Maya asked and Katy looked at her.
"You're pregnant? Oh my goodness," Katy said as she embraced Maya.
"How are you feeling?"
"Good. I'm 13 weeks and 1 day. My due date is 14 July," Maya said.
"Are you telling Josh's parents?" Katy asked as Maya saw how Josh pulled up.
"Right now actually. See you, Mom," Maya said.
"Maya, I'm happy for you," Katy said as Maya smiled going out of the bakery.

"Hey," Maya said climbing into the car.
"And?" Josh asked.
"Thought I was gonna burst into tears. She handled it so good. She's happy for us," Maya said.
"That's good. I think. Let's hope my parents also takes it well," Josh said as he drove off.
