Chapter 10 - Sweet Sixteen

Maya smiled looking at everyone there for not just her 16th birthday but also for the gender reveal of her baby.
She exhaled as she stepped forward throwing her arm over Josh's shoulder.

"I'm happy you're here. I couldn't have done it without you," Maya said.
"I wouldn't have allowed it either. This is my child as well and he or she will have a good father. I'll make sure of that," Josh said.
"Josh, you'll be an amazing father to our baby. I have no doubts," Maya said.

"Okay, guys. Are you ready to cut open this cake and find out if we are getting a grandson or granddaughter?" Amy asked and Maya smiled.
"Okay, let's get this started," Maya said as she took a knive.

She placed it over the cake for a shirt second before Josh placed his hand over hers as they pushed the knive down.
Pulling out the first piece of cake they all screamed as Maya laughed.

"Blue. We're having a boy," Maya said as Josh pulled her in close for a hug.
"We're having a boy," Josh said.
