"You're what?" Amy said as Maya looked at the woman sitting in front of her.
"I'm pregnant," Maya said.
"How did your..."
"My mother took it good and your son didn't actually say much. Think he is still trying to process it. I'm just over 13 weeks. My due date is 14 July," Maya said.
"Wow. That's a big deal. So how are you guys feeling?" Alan said.
"Excited actually. But I am hoping to get more than enough other stuff done with before the birth. I am due in the summer so I can easily finish up my sophomore year of high school and then I van do online school if I really want to," Maya said.
"We'll help where we can," Amy said.
