Amy Matthews exhaled as she as waiting on news about Maya. Going into labor a hit earlier than expected everyone was caught off guard. But they knew it was going to happen especially since Josh was born early as well.
"What's taking them so long?" Amy asked.
"Gosh, Mom. You weren't like that with Riley or Auggie. Why are you so with this baby?" Cory asked as Josh came out.
"Because they weren't born 5 weeks early. Both Maya and the baby are doing well. But can just Mom and Dad come in first?" Josh asked.
"Okay," Cory said.
"Let's go," Josh said as they went into the ward seeing Maya with the little bundle in her arms.
"Amy, Alan hey. Come on in," Maya said as Amy smiled at the baby.
"Meet your grandson, Daniel Gabriel Matthews. Daniel, Meet your grandma and grandpa," Maya said smiling.
"Oh, Danny-Boy. Remember that song, Joshua?" Alan asked.
"Very well. And we will probably call him Danny as well," Josh said.
"Welcome to the world, Daniel," Amy said as Maya smiled.
