Their destinies are to fight to the death. But what will the White Knight do when he falls in love with the Black Queen?
The ruthless Black Royals and the White Royals enter into battle, commanded by their Gods. There is no stopping the battle. Who...
"A8 to A6". The Black royals had sent their Rook up into the battlefield. The Rook was the punisher of those who dare undermine their superiors. They are the most loyal and most powerful defense. In this position, he would be ready to punish the White Knight if he dare capture his Black Knight.
The Black Knight looked deep into White Knight's eyes. "You can't hurt me. Your God wouldn't dare sacrifice his knight, would He? Even though you all claim to protect your citizens, at the end of the day, your God will always sacrifice the lowly to protect their prized Knights."
The White Knight could not retaliate because he knew that the Black Knight was right. Commanding the White Knight to capture the Black Knight would put the White Royals at an advantage, but the White Knight would fall into their trap. His God would not allow him to advance any further. Instead, He would send His Bishop, who is the power of the church and religion, forward to protect the White Knight.

"C1 to A3." Commanded the White King. "My White Knight, do not waver, for God will always be on our side."
Even though the White Knight would be spared for now, his insides hurt. He would be breaking the chivalric code by relying on others to fight in his stead. But how could this be possible? How could someone, so empty and made to be dedicated to righteousness have selfish "feelings"? Something went wrong.
The true battle had only begun. Each side became increasingly aggressive, sending their troops further and further. However, both sides could no longer hide from reality. The White Royals could no longer hide their weak, because they would only make the higher ups weaker. The Black Royals could not hide behing their weak, because the higher ups would be useless.
Throughout this chaos, the White Knight stood idle in the middle of the battlefield, restricted to move less he was to be made a sacrifice. He looked down in shame, unable to face the fact that he, who was made to protect, was now being protected. He could not accept his God continuing to send out troops in order to save the him. It was against his every fiber in his being.
But then, something changed. Since the war had begun, no higher up dared to trek into the midst of the opponent's territory. Certainly it would mean death. But while standing head down in the middle of the battle field, out of the corner of his eye he saw a black figure dart past him. It left behind a powerful current of wind that pushed his destrier towards the side. It whinnied in fear. The chaos caused the White Knight to snap back into reality and he took control of the reigns. His destrier clamed down and the ended up turning around, away from the Black Royals and towards his kingdom.
Even so, it wasn't his kingdom that he saw. It was the one in the midst of his kingdom which caught his eye. The Black Queen had charged forth farther than any other one in the Black Royals had. She was no ordinary Queen. He was entranced by her powerful aura that captured him from across the battlefield. She had made the heartless White Knight waver again.
