Leaving behind family and friends is never easy, and no one understood that better than [Y/N]. When she left for BC Sol, she left behind a little brother, who was only nine, in the U.S.

"Why must you leave me?" The boy asked his 11-year-old sister. "I'm sorry baby boy. They picked me personally, and if I want a chance to prove that girls can Blade too then I can't passed this up."  She explained softly.

The boy sighed. Once his sister made up her mind there was no stopping her. "Okay. But promise you won't forget about me." He said. A hearty laugh burst free from the girl. "I promise." She said.

That was the last time they spoke face-to-face. Of course they video-chatted and wrote letters but the time difference made it difficult. Soon all communication stopped. The last thing [Y/N] got from her baby brother was a letter.

[Y/N] had screamed and cried for hours after receiving that letter. That was two years ago.

The 13-year-old walked into the training room with an air of confidence that no one dare challenge her. After that letter she vowed to find her brother once more.

"[Y/N]!" A childish voice yelled out. The teen smiled softly as she looked for the owner of the voice. At the back of the training room was a trio of young boys.

One was blonde with brown eyes, a bandaid stretched across his nose and a lollipop in his mouth. The second boy had the same brown eyes as the first but with blue hair held in place by a yellow ellipse hairband and the third was a raven-haired with a white parrot on his shoulder. Rantaro Kiyama, Valt Aoi and Cuza Ackerman with Carl at his side.

[Y/N] smiled as Valt and Cuza ran up to her; Rantaro a step behind. "Guess what?!" The two shorter boys said in sync. The teen giggled softly at the two. "What?" She said with a adoring smile on her face. These two reminded her so much of the baby brother she had abandoned.

"Me, Valt and Silas got picked for the International Bladers Cup." Cuza said as he did a backflip. "Awww! I wanted to tell her!" Valt whined. "I want to go." Rantaro pouted.

The girl shook her head. "That's awesome you two. And Honcho, don't worry. I'm sure you'll get your chance next time." [Y/N] said sweetly. The blonde smiled. "Yeah." He said.

BC Sol had arrived in the U.S. only a little while ago and somehow Valt and Kit had already gotten into trouble. Kris sighed as the boys climbed into the bus that was taking the team to the hotel. "Seriously you two?" [Y/N] said as they sat down. "We're sorry!" They said.
