I hummed softly as I padded around the kitchen. The smell of bacon, eggs, and pancakes wafted through the air as I stirred the cake batter. Today's the day that my boyfriend was born.

I smiled as I traded the bowl for a spatula to flip the pancakes over before returning to it. Shu doesn't really like his birthday due to his parents never being there for him. I intend to change that.

Pouring the batter into the pan and setting a timer, I placed the sweet treat in the over. My phone rang in my pocket as I pulled it out.

"Hello?" I asked before holding the device away from my ear. And 3...2...1. "[Y/N]!!!" Valt's voice screamed as I chuckled. "Is Shu ready?!? We have the bakery all decorated for him?!?" He asked.

"Valt." I said as I placed the device against my ear. "One: No, he is still asleep and two: You are aware that the party is not until tonight, correct?" I could almost see the bluette sweat-drop at the news.

I sighed before smiling. "We'll be there at 4. Can ya tell your mother that?" I asked. "Yeah!" Valt yelled before I hung up. "Damn. How can he be so loud?" I said.

Sighing, I grabbed a plate filled with food and sat it on the tray. With a gentle smile, I grabbed the glass of orange juice and headed upstairs to Shu's bedroom.

With a small nudge, I pushed the slightly ajar door open to see my boyfriend. His white hair was tangled and spread across the pillow, his outfit pulled up slightly to reveal a bit of his belly with his eyelids still closed hiding his best feature. Those gorgeous ruby red eyes.

I chuckled at the sight as I sat the tray down on the bedside table. "Shu?" I said softly as I shook his shoulder. The boy grumbled faintly in his sleep as I laughed softly. Shu may act grown, but in the mornings he acts like a child.

"Shu." I said again as I pulled the blanket off him a bit. "Five more minutes...." He muttered as he turned away from me. I sighed before smirking. I sat on the edge of the bed before using my fingers to guide his head back.

He whimpered softly as I shook my head. Removing my fingers from his jaw, I placed a kiss against his lips. I heard a faint moan before arms wrapped around my waist to hold me down.

I smirked against him before licking his lower lip. He moaned softly as he obeyed and opened his mouth. Proud of myself, I slipped my tongue into his mouth to taste every inch. After a minute, Shu began to put up a fight as he tried to force my tongue out.

I smiled as we pulled apart. "Good morning sleepyhead." I said as we panted softly. He smiled softly before pecking my lips. "Morning." Shu said with flustered cheeks.

We've been dating for two years and he still turns pink at the slightest bit of affection. Honestly, I think it's adorable.

"Here." I said as I placed the tray in his lap. "What's the occasion?" He said confused as I laughed. "Damn Shu. You seriously have no idea on today's date, do you?" I asked.

"Nope." He said as he took a bite of his breakfast. I rolled my eyes but smiled. "It's your birthday. And I intend to make it the best ever."

Shu smiled as he placed the empty tray back on the table. "I'd be fine just to spend the day with you." He said as his smile morphed in a smirk and he pulled me into the bed with him.

I yelped and blushed at the sudden action before relaxing against the albino. Or tried to until my phone rang. Shu grumbled at the loud sound as I answered it already knowing the caller ID.

"[Y/N]!" Valt screamed. "Valt, calm down. And tell Mrs. Aoi we had a change in plans." I said as Shu smiled at me. "What?!? Why?!?" The bluette yelled again as I winced. Damn that boy's got lungs.

"Shu's idea. And it's his birthday." I said before hanging up on the poor boy. "Finally." Shu grumbled as he nuzzled up against my neck before placing a gentle kiss on the flesh.

I smiled softly at him as I ran my fingers through his white locks. He sighed in content before falling back asleep with his head resting on my chest.

For the rest of the day, we stayed in the house watching movies and cuddling. It wasn't what I had planned for him, but at least he was happy on his birthday.
