♠Ace's PoV♠

The day ended, I walked out of the carnival with Charles. I held his hand as we happily make our way around town. The town lamp posts turned on. It was a beautiful sight to see with him. We stopped as we see the gate of his house in the distance.

"So, I guess this is goodbye then"I said as I look into his eyes.

He smiles and kisses my cheek."I had fun! I'm glad I get to experience something like this with you"

I smiled."Me too"

We both hugged tightly, I kissed his forehead."Goodnight sleep well"

He nodded and he happily walks to the hole in the garden. I sighed in relief and decided to walk back to the circus.

It was a good day, I was exhausted yet happy. I made it to the circus, I removed my mask and the brown cloth then I headed for the RV.

"Ace, Are you feeling well now?"Vanilla asked in a worried tone.

"What do you mean?" I gave her a confused look.

"I thought you were sick?"Vanilla raised a brow. I was shocked then, I remembered that was the excuse that Arnold used.

"Oh yeah! I have forgotten! I just woke up.. that's all..I'm good. Don't worry"I scratched my head nervously and rushed inside the RV. I sighed in relief and just headed to bed.

The next day comes..

It was another day of practice.

And we just finished working on one of the biggest stunts. As I expected I heard a someone calling me from the entrance of the tent. I couldn't ask for Arnold to cover for me since he'd probably remember that I needed to tell him what I was doing the whole time. So for today's plan, I'll just sneak out.

Great plan..I know.

I grabbed the brown cloth and mask once again and wore my mask then I sneakily make my way to the circus entrance.

"Ace..? Where are you going?"Vanilla suddenly called out. I stopped and slowly turned around.

"I'm just getting some fresh air.."I said nervously and gave her a smile to make it believable.

I think it's working?

"You've been wanting some fresh air a lot recently. You have a broken lung?"She raised a brow.

"Haha..good one. I'll be back!" I said as I left quickly.

"Be back!"I heard her shout as I left the tent.

I saw Charles then I smiled at him, he smiled back.

"Ready to spend the day with me, Love?"

"I wouldn't be waiting here if I did"He chuckles and I held his soft hand.

♣Vanilla's PoV♣

"That boy seems really strange..Is he hiding something from us?"I said in a concerned tone, they didn't seem to care but, I did.

"Actually, I noticed and I'm worried for him. He barely hangs out with us anymore"Wally replied.

"He's a growing teen Van. You gotta understand him" Janna gave me a pat on the back.

"What if he's seeing a girl?"Arnold suggested. Everyone looked shocked.

"That could be the case, maybe he's in love.."Janna raised her finger as if she just solved a riddle.

"I don't see why would he hide about this girl?"I scratched my head. It didn't make sense.

"Whatever it is! We should follow him"Arnold headed towards the Circus entrance.

"Arnold! Give Ace his privacy!" I followed him.

"Ace could be doing something more than seeing a girl! You know the world! Aren't you worried for him?"He gave me a serious look. Arnold had a different look in his eyes. Was it worry? I've never seen him like this before.

"Fine.. We'll just peek"

"Grab these"Janna handed sheets of cloth to us for disguise.

"Let's go"I signaled as the four of us headed outside.

We examined the crowd of the busy people wandering around the streets. Then we saw a familiar brown makeshift hood walking towards the forest with someone.

"There!" I pointed as we sneakily followed to avoid any unwanted attention.

We followed Ace through the forest. We stayed off the trail and into the trees.

"Who is he with?"Wally asked in a moderate tone.

"I don't know"I couldn't see from the branches.

We could hear Ace laugh, giggle, and having a conversation with this girl he's seeing.

"Our Ace is in love.."Wally wiped his eye as tears come out.

After a few minutes of following them, they stopped at a riverside. We were all shocked to see who he is with.

"Mr.Burham's Son?!" The four of us were in shock.

"Maybe, it's a friendly outing?"Janna tried to think of the logical answer.

"Hey!" We heard Mr.Charles shout as he hits Ace playfully.

Ace just laughed and we were surprised by his next move.

"I'm kidding, Love" He kisses Mr.Charles on the cheek.

Mr.Charles just hugged back.

We all looked at one another.

"So..This is awkward..Our boy likes..a fellow boy?"Arnold looked away, he was shocked but not disappointed.

"No wonder he's not telling us"Janna leaned on a tree.

We kept watching them. They looked happy and sweet with one another.

♠Ace's PoV♠

I cuddled Charles tightly. Suddenly an idea hit my head. I looked at Charles' soft lips, I missed them.

"Charles can I kiss you on the lips again?"I asked in a polite tone.

"You have lips don't you? Of course you can!"He teased.

"You're learning from me, I love it"I giggled as I slowly made my lips approach his until..

"Awwww"A familiar voice said loudly.

Me and Charles looked onto the trees.

"Wait a second.."I stood up and brought out a blade from my pocket.

Don't get the wrong idea, I always bring this with me.

I slowly walked to the trees and bushes. There, I found my circus family that was secretly watching me and Charles.

"What the?!- What are you all doing here?!"I shouted while Charles followed me.

"Ace? What's wro..."Charles paused, he was shocked and nervous.

"The circus members are here.."He scratches his head and just smiled innocently.

"Don't you know what privacy is??"I shouted angrily.

"Ace! We're sorry! We were just worried for you!"Vanilla said nervously, I could see the guilt in her face.

"Kid, we're sorry! We were just curious and worried.."Wally backed her up.

I felt embarrassed and betrayed. I trusted them but, I just feel angry. I didn't know what to do. I was shaking a bit.

"Ace.."Charles tried to hold my hand.

But, I avoided it and started running  away.

"ACE!" I heard everyone I ever loved shouted as I ran.
