♠Ace's PoV♠

I slowly entered the  house, I carefully look around to see if anyone is around. Luckily there was no one. I slowly walked through the hall and into the living room. The place was silent, there was no one there. I carefully peeked over to the stairs, there are people in the living room, eating. It looks like all the maids and butlers are busy at the kitchen. If I'll be quick, the Burham family won't see me. I quickly headed upstairs, I carefully headed to Charles' room. So far, I'm as quiet as a ghost. I carefully turned the knob and entered.

His room was even messier than before.
"Was he okay?" I asked myself then I heard someone coming so I hid in the closet.

A maid came in holding a basket."Oh my, Sir Charles really needs to clean his room. I guess I'll do it" The maid sighed then I could hear her move around the room.

My heart was pumping, I was getting sweaty, and I'm a bit of a claustrophobe. I took a small peek, the maid was fixing Charles' bed.

"I wonder if his closet is also arranged"The main wondered. I panicked, I don't know what to do. I'll be screwed.

The maid held the closet handles and took in a deep breath.

I'm so dead..I'm so dead..

"Maria..What are you doing?"I heard Charles came in. Hearing his voice eased me.

"Nothing Master, just cleaning your room"Maria gave a nervous tone in her voice.

"Please let me, I can handle it myself"Charles commanded, the maid agreed and just left.

I heard Charles sit on his bed."Oh Acey, I miss him already. I should go to the circus and apologize but first..I need a disguise"He said as he quickly opened the closet doors.

"H..Hi Charles, I missed you.."I said nervously, he was shocked. He was about to scream but, he covered his mouth.

"Ace?! How did you get in here?" He asked in a surprised tone.

"Look, I sneaked in through the back door. I came here to apologize" I said in a stern tone. I was happy to finally see me. He smiled for a split second then his face dropped.

"Your hand..it's still bleeding cause of me"He held my hand that was still wrapped with a bandage.

"It's fine, it's not your fault. It was mine" I said in the most gentle tone then I gave him a pat.

"I missed you!" Charles hugged me tightly, he was crying.

I felt like crying too, I just hugged back.

"I'm sorry for everything I said" tears began rolling through my face.

"I know you didn't mean it"Charles hugged me tighter which made me feel that he really missed me.

Despite what I said, he still cared about me. I shouldn't have been selfish.

"You do understand me.." I smiled and gave a light chuckle. He did too.

♥Charles' PoV♥

It felt nice to see Ace again, the pain in my heart disappeared. I hugged him again, embracing his warm temperature that I've been wanting for a day and a half now. I missed him so much.

He then wiped my tears that are forming.

"Hey don't cry,Love. Cry when I'm dead"He joked and pinched my cheeks.

"You're crying too you know!"I pointed out, we both giggled as tears of joy came out of our eyes and onto our cheeks.

"You really came all this way just to apologize?" I asked  as I was delighted by the sweet gesture he did.

He nodded."I'd do stupid and crazy things for you. I am stupid after all"He laughed.

"You're not stupid, you just act without your brain"

"That still doesn't make it any better"He chuckled and rested my head on his chest while softly caressing my head.

I want to just be like this. I feel sleepy, I just want to go to bed with him right now. I yawned.

"Sleepy?"He asked as he looks into my tired and sleepy eyes.

"I barely had any sleep from thinking of you"I looked up at him and grinned.

"Well, we can fix that"He smiled and carried me.

"Wow you're strong! But I have feet you know!" I shouted a bit, giggling.

"Don't you like being served at, Love?" He teased as he puts me on my bed and he sat beside me.

"Not really but, sometimes I do" I looked at him again and I held his hand.

He looked at my hand then he tighten his hold.

We both smiled at each other, we could see the happiness on each other's eyes. It felt good and refreshing.

"Will you sleep with me?"I proposed and gave him the puppy eyes.

"Wow that's the first time someone proposed to me! This is a hard choice"He said sarcastically as he stopped and pretended to think about it.

"Eh what the hell! Yes!"He chuckled and laid down beside me, I got closer to him. He hugged me and gave my cheek a kiss. I blushed as our hands held each other.

"I love you Ace.."

"I love you too sweetheart" He said softly as I close my eyes to rest.

I moved my body to face him, I could feel his hot breath. It was warm then suddenly we heard an AHEM coming from the hall.

"I'm afraid I'm interrupting something?"

We sat down in shock to see Father, glaring at us.

"F..Father!"

"You two, head to the living room and explain. NOW!"He shouts as he walks to the living room.

Me and Ace looked at each other with worry, we're doomed. The circus could be doomed. My chances of seeing Ace might be also doomed. We could see the fear in our eyes. We shaked our heads from fear.

"Uh oh.." We both said in sync.
