Ace's POV
I stare at the ceiling as moonlight shines through the sliding doors allowing me to see the detail in the ceiling, the dents and curls in the wood above. I can hear the heavy rain smash off the windows as the thunder crashes and rumbles.
I can't seem to sleep and not because of the storm outside, I think it has to do with Camila. She's on my mind and it feels weird not having her by my side sleeping, angry with her or not.
I hear bare feet creaking down stairs and walk around the couch before stopping, I look up seeing Camila standing in one of my black t-shirts.
"I can't sleep without you beside me, it doesn't feel right" she coyly says swaying from one foot to the other.
I sigh grabbing her wrist walking her around the couch to the front as I sit up and pull her onto my lap, "I'm sorry" I whisper and hold her tightly.
I need to stop this shit and just accept what has happened has happened. I can't change it and if I continue this way I'll probably lose her which I don't want.
"Me too, I'm really really sorry" her arms move around my neck holding me tight.
"Okay"
"We should really talk about this without shouting at one and other" She pulls her head out from the crook of my neck looking into my eyes as she runs her fingers lightly over my freshly shaven beard.
"I'm sorry about what I did to make Aiden jealous" she runs her thumb over my lips as she tilts her head looking into my eyes, her eyes soft looking into mine.
"I want you to kiss me and for it to be like the first time all the time"
"You made the first move for our first kiss" I smile.
"And you ran away" she giggles.
"I panicked, you were my best friend little sister and I knew I love you and thought it would never happen and I was waiting a long as time for it to happen, I was shocked you made the first move" I admit.
"Remember when..you couldn't touch me before because of what happened to me..do you remember what I told you?"
I do.
"Block out all the bad" I say with a gulp.
"Block it out"
She lays her head against my chest listening to my steady heartbeat, I hold her close to my chest.
"I love you Ace, more than anything in this entire world. I'm willing to wait for you"
I push her off my chest gently by her shoulders before cupping her cheek, "I love you" I tell her, "You have no idea how much and that's why it hurts me like hell"
"I don't want you to force it, I forgave you with Rebecca and I know it was your brother but how long will you continue to punish me?"
"I'm not meaning to punish you.." I hold the side of her head with my hand as my other strokes her head of wavy hair.
