(Cyrax is walking on a bridge)
(Cyrax hears Baraka and Sheeva following him)
Cyrax: What are you doing? I'm not here to fight you. I'm assigned to kill Johnny Cage
Sheeva: Shang Tsung no longer has need of you
Cyrax: What do you mean?
Sheeva: He is terminating your agreement, and you!
(Cyrax fights Sheeva. Sheeva is bigger and stronger, but Cyrax is faster and more skilled. Cyrax's gadgets play a key role in taking Sheeva down)
Cyrax: I need to have a talk with your master
(Baraka pops his blades out)
Baraka: This fight is not over
Cyrax: You mean to finish me? You couldn't even stop the actor
(Cyrax fights Baraka. Baraka fights with nothing but pure bloodlust using his blades. He puts up a good fight, but it's not enough to take out Cyrax)
Cyrax: Now this fight is over. Shang Tsung has turned on me, I need to find out why
(Cyrax seeks out Shang Tsung, only to find him talking to Sektor)
Cyrax: Sektor, we need to talk. Our host tried to have me killed
Shang Tsung: You were speaking with the thunder god, your indiscretion has jeopardized my plan
Echo: He also sent assassins after me. What is this?
Sektor: Cyrax and Echo are Lin Kuei, they will complete their tasks
Echo: I am not loyal to the Lin Kuei anymore
Sektor: Since when?!
Echo: Since Bi-Han was killed
Shang Tsung: We shall see if the tasks will be completed. The next match will be Cyrax versus Johnny Cage
Johnny: What, me? Alright then. Not everyone gets to rumble with a celebrity. Ready for your beat down, sunshine? Here it comes!
(Cyrax fights Johnny Cage. Johnny's overconfidence cost him the fight. He also wasn't expecting Cyrax's gadgets. Johnny took a huge loss)
Cyrax: That should shut you up
(Cyrax grabs Johnny by the throat)
Shang Tsung: FINISH HIM!
(Raiden shakes his head)
Cyrax: I won't kill him!
(Cyrax drops Johnny Cage)
(Shang Tsung is visibly frustrated)
(Raiden nods)
(Cyrax walks away again)
(Sektor gets an angry look on his face)
Sektor: You we're commanded to kill
Johnny Cage, you disobeyed
Cyrax: I eliminated him from the tournament, he didn't need to die
Sektor: You have broken your oath
Cyrax: I used my judgement!
Sektor: The cyber initiative will eliminate insubordination
Cyrax: We are not machines, Sektor. I chose to serve the Lin Kuei, but I will not surrender my free will!
(Cyrax fights Sektor. Both men are very well trained in the Lin Kuei's fighting style, so they're able to match each other step for step. They also know each other's gadgets and weapons, so ultimately, it's a battle of wills. Cyrax is able to take down Sektor eventually)
Cyrax: Tell the grand master I am finished
Sektor: No one leaves the Lin Kuei, not you, not Echo, not anyone
(Cyrax kicks Sektor in the face and walks away)
