I don't bother giving Valerie control as I get ready for the day, starting with a nice hot shower. The scars Lucas gave me are deep so everyone's most likely gonna see it. Oh well. I'll just tell them the truth. I get dressed and nod at myself in the mirror approvingly.

I let my hair flow as I grab slide on my checkered vans. Whistling an unknown tune, I grab my phone and look at my ring finger. I smile as the red ruby begins to glow. I look up to see Lucas leaning on the door.
"Back so soon my prince?" I taunt. He smiles and holds out his arm.
"I am here to accompany the most beautiful wife to her job. And if she let's me... Perhaps I could be her assistant." I wrap my arms around his and he smirks, bringing me closer. "I could be by you all... Day... Long." His breath tickles my lips and my smile widens.
"Well please new assistant. Take me to work." He smiles and leads us outside.

"So if dad is here... Then why didn't he bring me?" Lucas asks. Ever since we got married he refers to Lucifer as 'Dad.' It's cute.
"Maybe he needed to come alone for whatever reason." I say, bringing two cups of hot chocolate around the cabinet. I hand them to Lucas. "2."
He nods and walks off to table 2. I take off my apron as I look at the time. Time to go see Alexander. Lucas comes back and grabs my hand, intertwining our fingers.
"Time To go meet my wife's mate." He mumbles. I roll my eyes and let him tug me away.

I hesitantly squeeze Luca's hand as I stare at the door. Luca just wraps his arm around me, my hand still connected with his as my arm covers me chest. He walks us in and I follow the all too familiar scent to the living room. All eyes stop on us and I turn to Lucas. He just nods.
I breathe in and out before looking at Alexander. But he's not meeting my eyes. No... He's staring at our hands. Lucas gets the idea and let's go but still stands beside me. Alexander's eyes turn pitch black as he looks at Lucas with a deadly gaze. I step in front of him, clearing my throat.
"Everybody..." I grab Luca's wrist and push him on the couch. I sit beside him and look at Alexander. "This is Lucas... My husband." Alexander's eyes widen and everyone gasps. Alexander stands up and I follow him movements. He begins to shake violently. "Alexander... Let me explain."
"Oh I'm gonna kill you boy." He growls to Lucas. I feel anger rise as he threatens Luca. I let a warning growl and he looks at me. "Move."
"No."
"Move!" He yells in his Alpha tone. He keeps doing this... Yelling at me when he doesn't get his way. "I said MOVE!"
"And I said No!" I yell, raising my hand. He stumbles back as a wall of fire surrounds him. His eyes change back to normal and he looks at me with a pained expression. I slowly let the wall down and frown.
"Valeri-"
"Can I explain now?" I snap. His jaw clenched but he sits down anyway. Along with everyone else, who watch us with curious eyes. "As I was saying... Lucas is my husband. And he has been for many centuries..."
I sit beside Luca and sigh. I see Alexander's eyes darken and I glare at him. He sighs before his normal color returns.
"Lucas is the prince... Soon to be king... Of hell." Stiles butts in.
"Soon to be?" He asks. I nod.
"We aren't getting a divorce." Alexander growls. "But there will be no romantic relationship between us. Our marriage is the fate of hell. If we ever broke apart... Hell would crumble. Our rings." I wiggle my ring finger. "Our wedding rings... Bind us together forever. It usually glows when one of us is around the other. Now we haven't had contact in about a few thousand years... But I guess he's back now."
"Can I just say that you my dear... Are ravishing." He says to Hailey. I hit his shoulder and he looks at me.
"That's gross. You're like literally married to her big sister." He shrugs.
"That sister just so happens to have a mate sooo..." He looks at Hailey again and winks. "H-"
"You're older than me by centuries." She cuts him off. I notice Alexander's silence and I look at him.
"Alexander?" He looks at me and his eyes darken. "What-" He stands up and walks towards me. I gulp as he grips my arm and pulls me away from Lucas. I helplessly look behind me as he drags me upstairs but no one does anything. Traitors.
