Filias POV:

Hailey frowns as Alexander glares at her. "What did you just say?" Hailey asks.

"You heard me. I don't want to say it again." I hold him tighter as I feel him tense.

"What the hell is going on?" I ask. Hailey looks at me.

"You're mates an ass." She snaps. I growl warningly.

"Watch your mouth Hails." I warn. She scoffs and Mason stands up.

"Hailey come one just drop it yeah?" He puts a hand on her shoulder and she slaps it off. "Hailey what the fuck?"

"Why do you think you're here Filia?!" She yells. "In this POSITION! Because your mate had you sacrificed. That cause some bad fucking memories! It's all his fault."

Alexander gets off of me, holding my hand and I sit up, glaring at Hailey. She stands in front of my bed and looks at me. I scoff and shake my head. Here we go...

"You listen to me AND you listen GOOD!" I yell. "Because I'm only going to say it FUCKING once... NONE of this IS Alexander's fault. It's not dads fault moms fault, Jaidens fault..." I point to her accusingly. "This is on YOU Hailey!"

"Me?!"

"Yes Hailey! You! Fucking you! We would never be in this situation if it wasn't for your stupid idea to come SAVE me, this wouldn't be happening!" I feel tears fall down as I rant all my feelings.

"I just wanted to help!" Hailey yells. "But now you're blaming it on me?!"

I stand up and manage to stay on my feet, ripping the wires off of me. "This is all on you! If you wouldn't have come, I could've gotten out by myself! I wouldn't have found out about ANYTHING!"

"You have NO right to blame me for any of this!"

"I have EVERY right! Y-You..." I hear a sob come from my mouth as I glare at her with gritted teeth. "You fuckung killed yourself Hails..." Her face drops in guilt. "YOU took YOUR life! In front of me! Do you know how hard that is?! For a big sister to live with the memory of her 13 year old sister SLICING her throat!"

"Filia-"

"No! You don't! Because you took the easy way out! It's because of you I'm so fucked up to the point where I've had and have suicidal thoughts!" I aggressively press my finger against my chest. "You betrayed me! You left me there alone! I needed you!"

"I'm sorry!"

"Sorry?!" I sob again, feeling my canines grow. "Sorry is never gonna bring you back! Hailey you're possessing a blonde girl who was in a coma! How could you do that to me?!"

"It's my job to protect you! All 3 of you! You, Valerie, Jess!" She yells.

"I don't want your protection damn it I want my sister back!" My voice breaks and nobody speaks for a second. "It is... MY job... To protect YOU. You were my baby sister."

"And I still am." She grabs my hands and puts her forehead against mine.  "I still am." I pull back and her face shows an expression of hurt. She puts her hand on my cheek and smiles sadly. "It's me. Hails. I'm your sister."

"No." I slowly shake my head as I bite the inside of my lip. Her smile drops as more tears come down our faces. "No. My sister died the day you decided to slit your throat."

"Filia.." I push her hand off my face and she pleads with her eyes. "Please. Please. You can't abandon me. You're own blood."

"I'm not abandoning my own blood if your blood isn't flowing. After all it's not like we have the same blood right now." I turn around and I feel her arms wrap around my waist. She lays her head on my back as I close my eyes.

"Please... You can't leave me." She whispers.

"No Hails... But you left me..." She tightens her hold slightly.

"Don't blame me for this... Not for this." Hailey begs.

"I have to. Because if I don't blame anyone it's still my fault. And as much as its true... I can't bear the thought that I'm the reason your dead." I open my eyes and shake my head. "Maybe if I blame you I could at least try to be happy. If I blame you... I'll stop trying to take the easy way out."

"Filia-"

"You have to go." I cut her off. I wiggle out of her arms and immediately I find myself in Alexander's. He hugs me tightly while I silently cry into his shirt.

"I'm sorry Filia." I hear her say. I wait until her scent leaves the room to pull away.

"Alexander. Take me to my dorm." I say. He looks at me.

"Won't she be there?" He asks. Mason sighs before passing me my clothes.

"Yes. Which is exactly why I won't. Chop chop then." And with that I pass out in his arms.
