Angel's End

The Old and the Wise

I looked out the window and saw the police, clones, and Obi-Wan.

I ran to the kitchen.

"You know the police are outside!" I whisper-yelled.

"No way! We have to hide!" whispered Talik back.

I pointed up towards the vents.

Maul hoisted Ventress and I up, then was about to help Talik up, but then we heard a knock.

"Hello? Is anybody home?" said a subtle Obi-Wan.

"Maul, go. I'll answer it." said Talik

"No! You can't!" I said.

"Good luck, Ahsoka Tano."

"No! Talik!"

Maul climbed into the vent, then closed it.

"We have to go," said Ventress.

"No! We can't let her go to prison for somebody else's crimes!" I said back.

"Then I suggest we get to the temple if we want to bail your buddy out."

I nodded, then we crawled down the hall, and soon we were above the lift. Clones were everywhere.

"So, what now?" said Maul.

"We fight." I said, kicking open the vent and jumping down.

"Hey boys! Mind stepping away from the lift?" I said.

"General! More over here!" said a clone.

The clones pointed their guns towards us, so we ignited our lightsabers.

I heard footsteps down the hall, then a lightsaber. It was Obi-Wan.

"Men! Stand down!" he said.

"Let's go!" said Ventress.

"Ahsoka! I trust you!" shouted Obi-Wan.

"I know you do. But nobody else does. I'm sorry, but I have to do this myself, without the jedi." I said back.

"So you're doing it with a sith then?"

"I have to do it with somebody that won't get in trouble with the council. And somebody who needs to be redeemed."

I gave him a nod, then climbed into the lift, and saluted them.

"Stop them!" yelled Obi-Wan.

We entered the lobby, and were greeted by more clones.

"That's them!" yelled one.

"Maybe we can fight later?" I said, shrugging and running past them.

"What's your plan!" yelled Maul, running next to me.

I pointed to the top of a nearby building, then said "High ground."

I force jumped up, then started running towards the temple, jumping from building to building.

I kept running, but soon we were joined by a bird. It was Morai.

"What do I do?" I said quietly to the bird.

"Go to the temple. You have support. There are more jedi that will help you. Somebody very powerful that will help you." I heard from my conscious.

"Who?"

"The grandmaster."

"Yoda...Where is he?"

"His chambers. Go quick, he's getting a visit from somebody soon."
