"You beat your usual time." Yoongi looked up from his watch, meeting Seokjin's eye with a wide smile. One Seokjin called his 'gummy smile.'

Seokjin raised a brow, shaking his head with a small smile. The two friends had this game. If Seokjin didn't show up one day, the day didn't count. If Seokjin did show up, Yoongi always timed the time from five to later, occasionally three till later. That was if he had a feeling Mr. Kim would be home.

Yoongi always put the times together and compared them. He would see how long it took Seokjin to run to his house. The fastest time was his new one, which was their new record.

Yoongi waved his hand, motioning Seokjin to come inside. The younger male turned on his heel, walking further into his home and bringing Seokjin to the kitchen.

Mrs. Min quickly took notice of the two men, though she had to resist a deep eyeroll. She absolutely despised Seokjin's Appa. "Hello, Seokjin! Would you like anything to eat?" She smiled and put her fork down, interlacing her fingers together.

Seokjin bowed and shook his head dismissively, smiling politely as he tightened his grip on his backpack strap.

"Ah, no thank you. I'm really only here for a few hours anyway, if that's fine by you." Seokjin cleared his throat, averting his gaze to the counter as he saw the look that fell on her face. It was the one where she didn't mean to show how she actually felt, but she did. Except, he knew it wasn't the fact that he was staying that bothered her.

She grabbed her glass of water and forced a smile, laughing softly and nodding. "Of course. You're always welcome here, Seokjin. You know that." She brought the glass to her lips, taking a few gulps of the cold water before she set it back down with a content smile. "Ah, make sure Yoongi actually does the work, too! Hes been slacking."

Seokjin laughed, the high pitched noise filling the living room. The elder male nodded with a large, happy smile when Yoongi rolled his eyes.

"I'm not slacking. It's our first day-"

"Yoongi." Mrs. Min raised a brow, a teasing smile playing at her lips. "I'm kidding, good lord child. Alright, go go, I won't keep you from your work!" The woman waved her hands at the two young men, then leaned back in her chair to finish eating.

Seokjin shook his head with a smile and followed Yoongi up the short set of stairs, down the hall, and into the room on the far left.

Yoongi's room wasn't huge, but it wasn't small. Almost the perfect size, in a way. The walls were a dark grey, making the room appear smaller. Yoongi had a full sized bed placed in the corner of the room, a desk at the end of his bed with a chair, and a black piano taking up almost the rest of the room.

Seokjin couldn't help but smile at the large piano. Seokjin had saved up so much money, asked people to chip in with a few dollars every now and then, worked extra, and after a year, he was able to buy his friend the piano.

Seokjin remembered working countless nights and picking up more shifts just to save up faster. Yoongi talked about wanting a piano since he had taken music class back in middle school. Literally.

But that wasn't why he was there.

Seokjin set his bag down before he crouched down, grabbing his binder out of the bag. The elder of the two sat down on the edge of the bed, yawning.

"One more year of hell." Seokjin looked over at Yoongi and grinned, laughing softly when the grin was returned for once.

Jungkook groaned, rolling his eyes at his ugly homework and getting out of his chair, deciding he would rather be procrastinating. Instead of wasting his day doing that shit, he had an idea of what to do.
