"Jungkook, go back to your seat!" Seokjin waved the younger off dismissively, his brows furrowed in concentration while he scribbled something down on the paper in front of him.

Jungkook only shook his head, continuing to help Seokjin plate the food items. After he ordered his food, Jungkook had followed Seokjin back to the employee area to help out.

Yes, it was prohibited. Did it stop Jungkook? No.

That idiot of a co-worker still hadn't showed up. It was three. Jungkook's food was near the register- which, he was eating every five minutes with plastic gloves.

"Um, no thank you. You expect me to let you do all this work with a packed restaurant? Ha! Hilarious." Jungkook grabbed another tray, putting the three full plates on it before he walked away to deliver it to a table.

Seokjin watched him go with a sigh. It was confusing to see someone so eager to help. It was work. Literally who would want to help out with that?

The time was going by dreadfully slow to Seokjin. It seemed as if someone had paused time during his least favorite time of day. As much as he wanted to continue to sulk, Jungkook was walking back with a smile.

"Hey, you know what you need?" Jungkook raised a brow, walking around the counter and setting the tray down, looking back over to Seokjin with a grin. "Fun. You need to have some fun! Come on, here, I've got some music for you." Jungkook reached in his back pocket, pulling out his phone and earbuds.

Seokjin shook his head with a small smile, laughing quietly, though he'd never admit he did that. "Jungkook, its work, it's not f-"

"No, no! Wait, before you finally decide on that, just listen. Please?" Jungkook pouted, handing Seokjin the earbuds with one hand while he slipped his phone in Seokjin's pocket.

When Seokjin finally met Jungkook's eye, he couldn't say no. The boy had the most adorable pout on his face and his wide eyes didn't help. What could he say? Seokjin was a sucker for cute pouts.

Another thing he wouldn't admit aloud.

Breathing out a small 'fine', Seokjin grabbed the earbuds and put them in his ears, listening to the music while Jungkook eagerly awaited his reaction.

His voice a little too loud, Seokjin nodded. "It's good!" It was a cute song, actually. A little sad, but good. The lyrics went a little something like, 'I had all and then most of you, some and now none of you, take me back to the night we met. I don't know what I'm supposed to do, haunted by the ghost of you, oh, take me back to the night we met.'

The younger male's eyes sparkled with excitement, his face brightening up immediately. "Exactly, now take it, and work. I'll deliver and take orders, you can help the cooks out. Just don't get too drowned in your thoughts that you forget about me, 'kay?"

Seokjin snorted, shaking his head in amusement. He grabbed the second earbud from Jungkook, the corners of his lips turning upwards in a smile. "As if anyone could forget about you."

It was such a nonchalant comment, gone in a second, yet Jungkook couldn't help but hold on to it. Seokjin had already given him a cheesy thumbs up and left to grab an apron, but he was still glued to his spot, thinking back on the words.

It took the younger a few more seconds to snap back to reality, the lightest dust of pink on his cheeks as he made his way back to the main room.

When Seokjin felt his presence was alone, he turned and smiled fondly, watching as Jungkook left to the main room with a happy skip in his step. Cute.

The next few hours flew by in a breeze, his co-worker never actually showing up. Asshole. But, in a way, Seokjin was kind of glad. Jungkook was actually kind of fun to work with.. and he made it less boring.

Hell, the kid gave sarcastic remarks to the mean customers too! He didn't even work at the restaurant, so he couldn't get fired. It was actually, dare he say, a fun work day. Extremely fun work day.

Taehyung and his Appa had already left. They actually asked Jungkook to accompany them, but he declined. Instead of leaving, he said he'd catch a ride, and that he would much rather stay to 'dance while working.'

..Jungkook then told him it was code word for, 'help you out and dance while doing so.' Surprisingly, Seokjin went the rest of the night smiling, laughing, and repressing more laughter.

There was a moment when Jungkook danced on his way out to take an order and he.. he tripped. That was something.

Now, they were wiping down tables, flipping chairs over on the clean tables, and the other boring essentials. Everyone else had gone home for the night, but of course because there was an extra hand, no one stayed to clean. Arrogant bastards.

"Jungkook?" Seokjin called out while scrubbing a particular spot on the table below him, a spot where someone had left a bunch of spilled sauce. Disrespectful, there were napkins right next to it. He paused, letting out a tired sigh and looking up, meeting Jungkook's curious eyes. "Thank you. For staying behind today and helping- you didn't have to and I really, really appreciate that."

Slowly, Jungkook smiled widely, his eyes crinkling slightly. His face showed nothing but genuine happiness. "No need! Seriously, I was basically having a better time than I would have at home. I mean," Jungkook sucked in a sharp breath, looking up in thought. "I do have Overwatch, which would have been bomb! Absolutely much better. And you know what? I'm kidding, because I had fun, Seokjin. A lot of it."

A silent sigh of relief fell from the elder's lips, though he was back to scrubbing in no time. "Mhmm, sure sure. I highly doubt you could do better in Overwatch than you did at dancing. You should've seen the look on some of those snobs faces!"

Jungkook laughed lowly when he heard Seokjin's high pitched one, throwing his rag down on the table. "Well, I doubt that. Not to brag, but uh, I'm pretty spectacular at Overwatch." Jungkook grinned, crossing his arms and leaning against the wall next to the booth.

Seokjin threw his down too, crossing his arms as well and giving Jungkook a look. "Of course you are."

Jungkook's jaw dropped, his face turning into one of surprise. "I am!" He raised his voice in a whiny tone, playing along with Seokjin's teasing. "And you know what? I'll show you some time, you've just got to let me." He grinned, unfolding his arms and taking a few steps toward Seokjin.

He walked near him till he was practically centimeters from his face, his eyes challenging. "Or are you too scared?"

Both startled and embarrassed, Seokjin jumped away and karate chopped the side of Jungkook's next. "Yah! I'm not scared! Besides, I'll beat you easily." Seokjin huffed, turning around and speed walking to the kitchen, leaving Jungkook cackling behind him.

"Oh? We're at that level of friendship already? Well, then I'm going to kick your ass!" Jungkook didn't wait for Seokjin to ask him what he meant, for he was already running over to the male to chase him.
