Green Steve limped his way towards the Rainbow Town. It was still about another day out, now probably two with his injury. He still remembered what happened just a day earlier...

Green Steve followed the familiar signs back towards the Rainbow town. He was making good time so far and hopefully he would be able to warn the others about the coming danger. Suddenly an explosion threw him forward and he was thrown into a nearby tree. He slowly slid down and painfully hit the ground laying on his side. He looked around and saw a large crater where he'd been standing. He shivered as he realized he could have died and slowly sat up. Though what confused him was that he hadn't seen a creeper or heard TNT and this hole was a bit big for only a single of either to have created.

He shakily stood and took a step forward but instantly fell. He sighed and tried again, this time taking care of where to put his weight. He slowly continued walking towards the Rainbow Town but it was just too painful. So he decided to camp out for the rest of the night and continue tomorrow. He made a small wood house and put down a bed. He lay down and was soon fast asleep. Two red eyes watched him and waited for the right time to strike, of course he didn't know that.

Right after he'd woken up he had continued on his journey and soon came to the tiring and still far away distance he was now. He sighed and even though he was in pain he had to continue! The others depending on this information and he didn't know if that thing had already been here and done something, which really made all the more reason for him to get there quickly. He looked up to the clear sunny sky, then back at the oak forest around him. A small smile appeared on his face and his eyes filled with determination. He would make it!

...

Sabre led the group through the forest as best he could. Dark Steve had led them back part of the way when they had left his base in the Overworld. Although he couldn't lead them the entire way back since usually he would just teleport there and didn't walk back and forth. Nathan knew most of the forest but he had never been to the Rainbow Town, so he was no help at the moment. Ghost Steve had never been there and Red Steve had no idea what was going on and barely remembered anything but Redstone, so they weren't any help either. Dark Steve had offered to teleport them there but Sabre had reminded him that even if he did teleport in with him, Lucas would most likely still attack.

So now they traveled partially lost in the forest and with a complaining Red Steve. "I want Redstone!" Sabre sighed finding another tree he didn't recognize. "Didn't you just get some earlier." Red Steve groaned, "But it's not enough!" Sabre stopped and turned to look at the group."Spread out and find some Redstone. Make sure not to travel too far away from this position. We will meet back here in about... 20 minutes." Everyone nodded and went separate directions, except for Red Steve who stuck with Sabre.

Nathan found a cave a few blocks out and carefully climbed down it with a torch. "Please let there not be any mobs..." He continued to go deeper and eventually found a vein of Redstone with no mobs in sight. He smiled to himself as he pulled out his iron pickaxe and started mining. "Y'know it's not that bad in caves... Never thought I would say that..." He mumbled as he mined the last block of Redstone. Suddenly he heard a hiss behind him and he sighed. He really hated his luck sometimes.

The creeper exploded and he was thrown deeper into the cave. He didn't know how but he could tell he only had a heart and a half left. He shakily stood and pulled out a new torch since his original one was lost in the explosion. He had to get out of here and hopefully in one piece. He took a step forward but flinched at the pain that shot through his leg. He took another step and his other leg felt the same. He kept walking, slowly climbing higher and eventually he could just barely see the light of the exit. He smiled and began to climb faster but stopped when he heard a hiss. He turned around and saw a creeper was climbing up the cave after him. His eyes widened and he tried to climb faster. He had to get out!

He cried out in pain and fell to the ground when something pierced his leg and he looked back again to see a skeleton standing just behind the creeper. The creeper suddenly charged full speed towards him and he tried to stand again but couldn't because of the pain and injuries. "Nonononono! Stupid Red Steve and his Redstone! I don't want to die!" The exit was less than five blocks away but he couldn't even crawl anymore. He heard the creeper ignite and he shut his eyes, he knew he was going to die... He hoped Dark Steve wouldn't be upset, he wished he could see him one last time... The creeper exploded and Nathan was gone.

...

Lucas looked up as he heard someone shout for him. He noticed that Light Steve and Mogi were back and coming over to him. He put down the Redstone he had been using and faced them. "Light Steve, Mogi, it's good to see you guys." Light Steve nodded and Mogi smiled, "Good to see you too! We didn't see any signs of Red Steve or Sabre, so we decided to return." Lucas nodded, "We actually have something to tell you." "We?" Lucas nodded again and had the two follow him. They went to the secret bunker and Lucas made sure the door was shut behind him.

Blue Steve and Moose were already there and sitting at the main table. The other three took seats and Lucas was at the head of the table. "So... Blue Steve had an encounter with an entity that we believe was the one who hurt Spencer." "Hmm... That wouldn't be good..." Light Steve looked at Rainbow Steve and they all knew he was talking. "What do we know about this... Entity?" Moose asked leaning forward. Lucas sighed, "Well for one it, according to Blue Steve, sounded deranged. He couldn't see it and other than that all we know is that it said it had red eyes."

Mogi shook his head, "That's almost nothing." "Did you say it could talk!?" Moose exclaimed, "Maybe it threatened Spencer and that's why he won't tell us anything." Everyone looked at Moose, "Then that means... We need to see Spencer!" Lucas exclaimed and got up from his seat. "Hey! Wait, what's goin on?" Moose asked as he watched everybody getting up. "I'll tell you in a minute but first we need to go see Spencer." Moose was still unsure but he followed everyone else back to the Rainbow House. They then all went upstairs and threw the doors to Lucas's room open.

Spencer looked up from his place on the bed and looked confused to see them all here. He tilted his head and looked at Lucas. " Spencer, I need you to be completely honest with me. Did you lose your voice to some mystery entity or just from a glitch?" Spencer flinched and seemed scarred. He then tilted his head back and forth as if to say both. Lucas sighed and looked back at the others. Most of them shrugged while the others just nodded. Lucas shook his head extremely confused and then asked, "Did the thing that hurt you have red eyes?"

Spencer nervously looked around at them. He then sighed and shrugged. Lucas gave an exasperated sigh, "This is getting us nowhere! Spencer! Ye or no!" Light Steve stepped forward and shook his head at Lucas. Rainbow Steve caught on and grabbed Lucas by the arm. "Um, how about we talk outside." Lucas gave him a confused look but complied. Everyone left except for Light Steve. "So, you've met Glitch." Spencer jumped back in surprise. "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." Spencer slowly calmed down and then raised a hand. "Oh! You must be very confused. How to explain..."

"Hmm... That might work. So, I'm not really Light Steve, I'm Hypno Steve! I was created by Dark Steve a loooooong time ago to be his pawn but luckily a 'friend'... Heh, well he saved me and now I'm just watching and learning. Technically I'm not supposed to interfere but I'm doing it this once because of that entity that keeps on interfering with all of you." Spencer leaned forward now very interested. Light Steve's eyes were now a weird mix of pink, green and blue.

"His name, well the one he gave himself is Glitch. He was created in Sabre's Steve Saga Sever, or 4S as I like to call it, by a glitch in the code. He was actually pretty innocent and a bit childish but he saw a few things he shouldn't. Those things corrupted him and now you'll need to finish his game or finish him before you and your friends can leave." Spencer tilted his head and Light/Hypno Steve laughed, "Oh you're probably wondering why I'm helping you in particular or at all. Well... This was never meant to happen. Glitch was never meant to happen. He's completely derailed the proper way things are supposed to happen!"

"Sabre was supposed to defeat Dark Steve, not make friends with him! Ghost Steve was supposed to fade away in sorrow. Moose, Unspeakable, Mogi, and you were never even supposed to know the Steves! This isn't the Steve Saga anymore! This is Glitch Tales and it needs to end!?" Light/Hypno Steve gasped for air after his angry rant and then looked Spencer dead in the eyes. "You need to end this. Once I leave this room then Light Steve will have his body back and be just as oblivious as the others to what is coming. Be prepared or else none of you will leave this alive." Light/Hypno Steve left the room and Spencer knew he was alone with this knowledge. He had to finish this one way or another.
