My insane obsession

Part 26

After going through security at the entrance to the condo, Céline heads to Garou's house. The scene she found she never imagined witnessing in her life. He fell at the entrance to the house, bloody. Packets spread around his body. Desperate, she dropped to her knees on the floor beside him.

C: - Garou, Garou, mon amour, mon amour - she clapped her hands on his chest, rubbed his face.

Agonized, stunned, she cried compulsively. She grabbed his lapel and placed a wet kiss on his bloody lips. Her tears fell on Garou's eyes. Groaning loudly, he woke up.

C: - Oh, mon amour. - she pulled his head on top of her legs. 

Clinging to his head, she rocked him, rocking back and forth while crying silently.....He moaned. The pain was unbearable.

C: - Mon amour, talk to me, what happened to you?

He could hardly breathe. With great effort, he looked her in the eye and said:

G: - René......

With too much difficulty, Céline put him on his feet and propped him up to his Ferrari. She threw him over the side of the car, dropping him into the back seat. It was the closest car. Easier. She ran with him to a hospital. 

Already medicated and without serious complications, Céline takes him home.   

C: - I will spend the night with you.

G: - No dear, go home.

C: - No, no. I'll take care of you.

G: - You need to rest. You got too stressed. And the baby ...

C: - I know. But I will be right here with you. I'm going to sleep next to you. You protect me.

G: - Hmmmm ... poor me, I don't know how to take care of myself.

C: - Don't say nonsense. And I wouldn't be able to look at René. I don't think I could even breathe the same air as him.

G: - Oh, Céline ...

C: - It's sad, I know. But look what he did to you? The children are with Linda, that's what matters to me. She keeps her eye on them.

G: - So lie here with me.

She cuddled up to his chest, who moaned in pain. The dawn was not easy. Sometimes Céline woke up with Garou delirious with a fever, and gave him the medicine to lower it. Depressed, she looked at this man so strong, bedridden, helpless on the bed. How could the two, so innocent, survive the cunning of a player like René?

The risk 

The sun was already hitting the bedroom window when Céline woke up feeling uncomfortable. She was wet. A strange feeling. She opened her eyes, sat on the bed. She looked at the sheet. She let out a scream of terror that echoed through the house.

Garou woke up with a start. Up on the bed was a huge blood stain. Even weakened, he jumps out of bed and takes Céline in his arms, dragging the sheet with him. 

Desperate, he enters the hospital emergency room. They take her inside. He tries to follow the team of nurses. 

Nurse: - Sir, you cannot enter, you have to wait at the reception. 

G: - My baby ....

Nurse: I'm sorry, sir, you have to wait outside.

In the middle of the reception, Garou held the bloodstained sheet in his hands. His agony was replaced by the hatred that took over his soul.

Garou enters like crazy through the door of René's house. Linda is startled by that uncontrolled man, covered in bruises and wounds, carrying a bloody cloth in his hands. 

L: - Garou, what is this? 

G: - Where is he, Linda? Where is he? 

Garou enters the office. René was at his desk, writing.

R: - Garou! How dare you enter my house? Where is Céline?   

In a rough gesture, Garou spreads the bloodstained sheet over René's table.

G: - She's in an emergency, you bastard. And it's all your fault.René looked at the sheet in amazement.

G: - You bastard, if she loses my baby, I swear to you, René, I'll kill you. With my own hands.

R: - Ahhhh, kill nothing! You suck!

G: - You will pay for the suffering that you are making her go through, René!

Garou leaves the house, returning to the hospital.

René was alone in the office, looking at the sheet on his desk. He gave his chest a squeeze. "Poor Céline". He sat down in his big chair. A slight sarcastic smile flickered across his face.
