Crue found a widdler trader within eyesight of the recon boat. "How much for this?", he asked, holding up a wooden carving of a rabbit. Crue looked at one of the carrot farms and noticed there was a rabbit in the garden. He'd never seen a rabbit in real life until today.

"That's for girl", the trader said. The trader was a short dark skinned man with an afro. "Bunny only for girl."

"I know numnutz", Crue said. "It ain't for me. You want me to guy the damn thing or not?"

"Find ugly man", the trader said. "Twenty dollar."

"Twenty dollar?", Crue said. "You're a damn pirate!"

"Twenty dollar".

"Ten dollar. Dollars"

"Fifteen dollar."

"Deal", Crue said handing over the money and snatching the rabbit carving. "You're lucky this is a peaceful town. Otherwise I'd beat your midget ass."

"Enjoy ugly man", the trader said.

"Dick", Crue said as he walked over towards the recon boat. He looked at the rabbit. He wasn't sure if Lisa even knew what a rabbit was. He sure wouldn't know what a rabbit was if he and Paul didn't grow up reading the books that Connolly gave them as kids. Hopefully Lisa would like it. He stuffed the rabbit carving into his pocket.

"Crue!", Bruce called out from the deck. "Crue! We need to go!"

"What, what?", Crue said as he got closer to the recon ship. Machine gun fire tore through the trader's shack and pieces of metal and wood splintered all around crew. Crue jumped down as soon as she could but in the panic he fell between two boats and plunged into the salt water. As he emerged to the surface of the water he heard the whizzes of bullets flying around him and the sounds of the bullets hitting everything around him. He began to hear the panic of the Dineshie natives as they ran for cover.

"Keep firing", Hensley said on the deck of his ship. All three of the recon ships were each equipped with two .30 cal machine guns and they unleashed fire upon Dinesh. "Kill all of them, they are harboring Wake. He's somewhere around here!"

Bruce called out, keeping his head down. "Crue get in the boat and let's get the hell out of here!"

Crue surfaced atop one of the boats. It was already sinking. He jumped onto one of the water gardens and got to the boat. "Grab the guns!", Crue called out, trying to be heard over the deafening sounds of the gunfire.

"No time!", Bruce said. "Get on and let's go!"

"We can't leave Paul!", Crue argued. "Now get the guns and let's fire back! We got a shot on them!" Crue looked to his right and watched as a crowd of people were gunned down. If he could get a rifle he could take down the two gunners on one of the boats. They weren't even aware of him and Bruce at this point, they were too occupied with killing civilian and sinking the entire boat clan.

"Crue", Bruce said sternly. "Either get your ass on board or not. I'm leaving". Bruce made his way over to the helm of the ship and and turned on the engine.

Crue looked over and saw that the ropes keeping the recon ship docked were already cut. "You son of a bitch", Crue said.

"I'll see you in hell then", Bruce said as he drove the recon ship off.

Crue stood back and watched as their boat left with Bruce on it. Crue looked to the right and saw he was dead in the sights of one of the machine gunners. The machine gunner pulled the trigger and sent a hail of bullets in Crue's direction. Crue shut his eyes and clutched the rabbit carving. Then he was shoved off his feet and and fell onto a garden hard. He looked to see who tackled him onto the ground.
