Katsuki's p.o.v

My face paled at the news. Her face wasn't far from mine, unexpected and disgusted. Apart from the fact that both if the parents seemed pleased with the fact. I heard Kirishima open and close the doors, claiming to go help somewhere else as he obviously wasn't needed. Father paid no mind to him and just dismissively waved him away with the flick of his hand. I walked closer to the table of five and sat at the empty chair reserved for me. "That servant of yours shall be off doing more work. Perhaps we'll have him back out with the horses since he seemed to excel there. He seemed pretty strong so maybe he'd be best suited for man's work out in the fields." He insisted. "I don't like you around him too often. He may rub off on you in the ways I wasn't expecting." He stated coldly. "He is doing just fine as my servant. I can change him." I hated every word that left my mouth. A lie I had to use to cover the truth that was too much of a burden. I knew that if he was moved to a different part of the castle, I would rarely see him and he was one of the only people I enjoyed being around. He was decently enjoyable to be with.

"I'll talk about this later. Right now you have your future mother and father in law to meet." I turned to the two parents, dressed nicely in their suit and dress. The daughter wasn't particularly outstandingly attractive but then again, my type is dudes, so I wouldn't know anything. "Meet our daughter, Kyoka Jirou." They greeted, slowly pushing her forward a bit. I nodded in her direction to which she nodded back. They didn't seem pleased with the introduction. "Introduce yourself." They both forced out between their teeth, trying to keep a smile on their face. "My name is Kyoka Jirou and I'm the princess from a Kingdom called Oryn. It's a bit east from here." She gretted kindly, curtsey right afterwards. Her parents seemed pleased and she rolled her eyes a bit. I smiled a little. She hated this just as much as I did. Great. "Well, the names Katsuki. Katsuki Bakugou of the
Aedon Kingdom and the soon to be king." I bowed, rolling my eyes where only she could see. She giggled a little. I think she caught on. "Well, these are my wonderful parents; King and Queen Kyoka, the rulers of Oryn." She greeted, her parents waving in a friendly manner. "Well, while we talk about the private matters of the future, why don't you two both have lunch? A nice way to bond yes?" My father asked, mother nodding behind him. He got to make all of the decisions and she couldn't object. I guess that's why the marriage rules are set the way they are.

"I think that's a wonderful idea." I stated, hoping to god I could get away from the fakest people I'd ever met. Their smiles said it all, forced and trying but just....not right. I grabbed her hand and led her outside where the doors were shut and I let go of her hand. "I'll get someone to get us a basket from the kitchen. Follow me, I know where to go." I stated. She wordlessly followed me where I grabbed a basket and walked back out. "Here, I know a private place we can talk without worrying to whisper." I mumbled, walking down the hall and into the flower room I had brought Ei yesterday. I wish we were back there, happily playing in the stream but I guess I'm too old for things like that. "Well, that was a steaming pile of shit back there. What's your parents deal?" I asked, closing the door and dropping the basket on the grass. "They're so stuck up and worried about me getting married that they won't let me have freedom. Believe me, you don't want to get married as much as I do. And trust me when I say, I don't want to marry you. No offence but, you aren't exactly my type." She said, big gown flowing over the grass. "That has to be uncomfortable." I said referring to her dress and pulling out the croissant sandwiches. "And no offence taken. You aren't my type either. Sandwich?" I held one out to her which she gladly accepted.

"What's the big deal about getting married anyways? I mean, I'm only fifteen and they treat my like I'm a full grown adult yet, I'm still a kid. I still want to have the freedom of being a kid and worry about other thing later. I want to live life before settling down with someone. And I didn't exactly expect that someone to be chosen for me by my parents." She ranted, taking a bite from her food. "I know how you feel. I just want to be free. Aren't we too young for this anyways?" I wondered aloud. She agreed with me. "And the fact that my parents have to choose who I marry. If it were up to me, I wouldn't be getting married in the first place. Let alone to a girl." I stopped when I realized I had said too much. I looked up at her with pleading eyes and she stared at me with a shocked expression. I couldn't tell if this was a good thing or not but either way she laughed a few moments later. "You've got to be kidding me!" She exclaimed, laughing so hard she clutched her stomach. I felt sick and my face paled. "Please, don't tell them. They would kill me and that's not an exaggeration." I pleaded with her. "No, it's just funny because I am in love with this one servant girl in the city and I can't believe I'm about to be forced to marry someone like me." She laughed out, wiping her eyes and gaining some composure. "Wait, for real! Tell me your story!" I pleaded, not knowing of anyone else who was like me.

"Well, I was in town one day visiting with my parents and I wondered off. After going to town a bit, I stumbled upon this beautiful shop with an even prettier girl running the place. I came in and she freaked put getting all jittery and sweet. Her name is Momo and she was wonderful. She offered me anything in her shop, free of charge as a gift. I took this little necklace because it was small and I would feel bad taking something too pricey without paying. Anyways, I always went up to her store as much as I could, visiting every day and falling more and more in love. I never plan to stop going to see her. That's why this whole marriage thing sucks. If it goes through, which no doubt it will, I'll never see her again because I'll be here." She seemed sad towards the end of her story. "Well, if this goes through, I'll let you take as many visits to your home kingdom to see her. Even of it's everyday." I promised. "Thank you so much! You don't have to do that." She smiled. "She obviously makes you happy. So, I wouldn't mind." She turned to face me. "Well, do you have your eyes on anyone special?" She asked, eyebrows rising. I blushed slightly. "Oh you do! Tell me!" She squealed in delight. I shushed her and passed her a brownie from the basket to shut her up. "Did you see my servant that walked in with me when I came in?" I asked her. She simply nodded her head letting me continue.

"I like him."
