Eijirou's p.o.v

While he left to go to dinner, I stayed up in his room. He told me he had something to tell me after dinner so o figured I should stay in his room unto he got back. I opened his closet doors, grabbing the most simple shirt and pants I could find. I hated the feeling of the wet fabric sticking to my skin. Pulling on the soft blue shirt and light jeans, I pushed my wet clothes down the laundry shoot. While I straightened up a few stray books in his room, the door creaked open. I didn't bother to turn around because I knew it was him. "You're back from dinner so soon. How was it Kats-" I stopped talking when I turned around and realized it wasn't him but actually a guard I assumed. I instantly straightened my posture and bowed a little. Even though he was very lean and thin, he was extremely tall. His almost golden hair laid scraggly on top of his head and seemed unkempt yet somehow fit him. "I-I'm sorry. Should I be back in my room?" I asked, ready to be taken away by him. "No, you're quite alright to be up here young...?" He started with a reassuring smile. "Oh! Eijirou. Eijirou Kirishima." I introduced, outstretching my hand. He shook it firm with a smile. "You'll be working with me and Prince Katsuki I assume from the Kings earlier orders. Yagi, I'm sure you heard my name somewhere along the lines." He seemed genuine and like a nice guy I could trust. I instantly knew he would be one of my favorite, if not my only favorite, staff member.

"So, I've never done this before; worked in the castle before or as a butler so, would you mind helping me out?" I asked, continuing to put away the books like I had been doing. "You're doing a great job right now. It's more of a follow his and the kings orders no matter what. He has to be up at seven while the king and queen go out to town. By nine, they are back and he should be done with his morning studies. Since he has meetings with his father and other kingdoms this week, his schedule should be busy. By 9:15, he needs to be in the ballroom until lunch. Lunch for staff is served separately. Then, after lunch at noon, he should have more etiquette training and more work to do. This Friday, there will be a ball for him to find a bride. Since today is Monday, that leaves four days until he should be engaged. Leave orders up to him and the king and I'll help you along the way. I need to help the kitchen staff with cleanup after dinner in about eight minutes. I'll be gone for the next few hours. Maybe that will convince the king that Katsuki has changed your...current circumstances." He mumbled that last sentence under his breath but I still caught it. "Ah, you know about my parents. Sorry if you are disgusted by that." I looked down at my feet with a frown. "Why would I be?" He asked me. I looked at him confused. "Were you not disgusted by their relationship? I have yet to find anyone who wasn't." He smiled a little to himself and just shrugged. "It's not my place to judge. I think both you and Katsuki are in the right." He said, patting my shoulder. "Me and Katsuki?" I asked, confused by what he meant. His face looked shocked before he mumbled out something. "I should probably head to the kitchen to help clean up. I'll see you later." He called out, closing the door behind himself and leaving me with so many questions.

It wasn't long before Katsuki came up to his room and I just pushed all my questions aside. "You're back!" I exclaimed, a little too excited. "What else do you have to do today?" I asked, straightening up his bed sheets. "I don't have anything left after dinner. It's prayer hour so we have to stay quiet." He whispered to me, sitting on his bed, legs folded underneath himself. I sat next to him quietly. Prayer hour was something that went on from seven to eight every night where the whole town would pray. It was something I always did with my parents so it wasn't something new to me. I clasped my hands together and bowed my head and started praying. I prayed that my moms were happy in heaven and that he would watch over me and the kingdom. I prayed that I would find happiness with someone and to be forgiven for my sins. And after a few short minutes of praying I was done and looked over at Kats who was staring at me. "You know, you mouth your words silently when you pray." He commented, lifting himself off his bed.

"Could you start me a bath please?" He asked, quietly grabbing clothes from his closet. Without a word, I walked to his bathroom to run his bath. Plugging the drain and getting the water to a good temperature, I added a little bit of bubble bath to make it soapy. He walked in with a towel draped around his waist and I turned away with a blush. I heard the water splash for a second and turned back and he was sitting in the bath, bubbles all around him. "I'll wait in there so-" he cut me off, handing me a bottle of shampoo. "Wash my hair." He said, turning his head towards my direction. I grabbed the bottle and poured a bit of the apple smelling shampoo in my hand. Lathering it up, his hair laid flat on his head rather than spiked. Scrubbing his hair, it was alot softer than I would have thought it was. I grabbed a cup from the counter and dumped it over his head washing all the soap out. I started on the conditioner while he washed his body and before I knew it, he was done and drying off. He pulled his clothes on while I turned away and drained the bath. "That was refreshing." He smiled, pulling on his shirt and drying his hair with the towel which was now spiked again. "So, what were you going to tell me?" I asked, following behind him to his room. "Oh, uh...can we sit down." He asked, sitting on the edge of his bed and looked at his twiddling thumbs. "It's okay whatever it is. I won't see you any differently." I assured him, sitting next to him. "I'm gay." He mumbled under his breath, barely audible. He looked up to see my reaction and looked somewhat shocked.
I was smiling all dopey like. "Why are you looking at me like that?" I smiled really big before responding.

     "Just because you're like me."
