2 - Practice Run-In

*Midoriya's POV*
It's so close, we've been planning for over a month now! The class 1-A baseball game! It's only 2 weeks away! Since we're staying in the dorms we've all become a lot closer with eachother, we've also ran out of new things to do to entertain ourselves. We planned this baseball game to give us something to do, and to possibly break the growing tension in the class. Heck, even the teachers wanted to get in in the action! All might is gonna be our coach, Aizawa is going to be the other teams coach, and Mic is going to be the ref!

"Ah young Midoriya! I've been looking for you!"
Suddenly I was caught off guard by a familiar voice, it was all might!
"O-oh eh, hey all might!"
"Are you doing alright my boy?"
"Y-yeah you just caught me off guard is all, anyway you said you were looking for me?"
"Why yes! I was gonna let you know that we were going to go practice on the feild some but I guess you already knew!"

I looked at him confused, then look down. Oh yeah, I'm carring the box of extra gloves, bats, helmets, and some baseballs. I look back up at all might with a smile, "Yeah! Ojiro told me we were gonna hang out on the field after class!" Me and all might walk to the field together talking about random things like baseball, class, training, etc. Once we made it to the field I could see Uraraka, Ojiro, Tsu, Iida, Tokyoami, and Shoji already there. I was heading over to them when I hear Uraraka, "Hey Deku!!" I give her a smile in return, "Hey guys!"

We start setting up as the rest of the team arrives. Yaoyorozu, Ayoama, and Todoroki. We start with just tossing the ball around with a partner while we chat about the upcoming game.

After practice, well I say practice when really that was just an excuse for us to hang out, we head back to the dorm. I start looking in the box for my glove when I realize I don't have it. "Hey guys, I'm gonna go back to the field, I think I forgot my glove" I say as I scratch the back of my neck. "Oh, I can go with you Deku!" Uraraka pipes up. "Here, I'll take the box of equipment while you go back for your glove" Ojiro says while reaching out for the box, I hand the box over to Ojiro as I say "Thanks Ojiro, a-and you t-too Uraraka" I felt my face get red. "No problem, now let's go!" Uraraka says with excitement in her voice as she grabs my wrist dragging me in the direction of the field.

When we arrive at the field we continue our conversation about the math test we had taken earlier that day. I walk over to the dugout and look around for my glove. Weird, it's not here, I thought. Uraraka looks up at me, "is it over there?"
"No, I thought I left it right here"
"weird, someone must have moved it"
"If someone would have gotten it then wouldn't they of said something when I mentioned it?"
All of a sudden I see something shiny in the woods behind Uraraka

"DUCK!" I shouted at her.

*Uraraka's POV*

Me and Deku were looking for his baseball glove when we couldn't find it. We started a conversation about where it could be before Deku's face had a look of confusion, and then worry. All of a sudden I hear "DUCK!" followed by a loud noise. I could tell I looked scared, I was scared. I looked over at Deku and he was looking past me. I see something fly over Deku, it looked.. red..?

Deku runs over to me and helps me up asking if I'm ok, I reassure him I'm ok just in shock, I could tell he was too. After checking on me Deku runs past me and into the woods, it looked as he had activated his quirk while he was running. He then comes back and says "Nothing.." before checking up on me again. I turn away from him and stare at the ground as I walk until I see it... w-what? No.. it cant be..? " Uraraka..? You ok?" I bend down, pickup the bullet, and turn towards Deku as I get back up. He looks as shocked and worried as I do. He finds a clear plastic bag that was on the ground and I put the bullet in it. We were speechless as we walked back to the dorm.

When we arrived at the dorm we saw Tsu and Kirishima on the couch, Tsu must have noticed our facial expressions. "Are you guys ok? You look like you just saw a ghost" she looks worried so I pipe up and say "y-yeah were ok!" Kirishima was listening to us until he noticed the clear bag in dekus hand. Kirishima jumps up and runs twords us. "Are you sure you are ok!? It looks like yall had a run in with-" Mr. Aizawa cut him off as he walked in, me and Deku turned around quickly. "What's going on?" Deku starts talking, "M-Mr. Aizawa! Look" Deku holds up the bag and shows Mr. Aizawa, to his response he looks shocked, and worried.. "are yall two okay?!?" We nod. "I need to get you two to recovery girl to get checked on, then we will speak to the principal about this matter" me and Deku just nodded our heads.

After visiting Recovery Girl and getting the all clear we went to the principal where we met up with Aizawa. "I need you two to explain how you got this bullet" I pipe up and awnser him as everyone in the room watches me. "W-well we were searching for Dekus glove and then we were talking to eachother.." I look at Deku for him to say his part. "I was talking to Uraraka about where the glove could be when all of a sudden I saw something shiny in the woods just past her, I yell duck and just after I did there was a loud bang! noise" I pipe up to say something important, interrupting Deku, "as we were laying on the ground i saw something noticeably red fly over us" then i look at Deku again, he continues with what he was saying, "after that I ran to Urakaka to check on her, then I ran to the woods with my quirk activated just in case but there was nothing, I go back to Uraraka and she picked up the bullet, and I grabbed a bag off the ground to put it in, then we came back."

"I see" Principle Nezu speaks up, "so if I'm not mistaken then this is the bullet that can take away ones quirk yes?" Aizawa nodded. "So this wasn't random, with Eri in our custody someone must know where the last of the bullets are and know they must use them wisely" I looked over at Deku and he seemed to be lost in tought. Typical Deku. I put my hand on his shoulder and flash him a smile, he looks at me confused and then give me a smile in return. "So what your saying is that whoever has these bullets must have been targeting one of them?" Aizawa said, catching mine and Deku's attention. Before I know it Deku speaks up, "The League of Villains" we all look at him confused. "The bullets we found when rescuing Eri were with Chisaki in the same transport vehicle. The League attacked the vehicle and must have taken the bullets!" Everything he was saying was starting to make since, it was a scary thought.

"The league... after us..?" I quietly said with worry in my voice, I didnt mean to say it out loud it just came out of my mouth. I was looking at the floor when I felt a hand on my head, it was Aizawa. I looked up to see him kneeling down in front of me "it's going to be alright, we.. I will protect you. And besides your a UA student with your provisional license, we know you can protect yourself" he looks over at Deku, "same with you problem child" me and Deku both put smiles on our faces, we're going to be just fine!

*Midoriya's POV*
Starting from where I switched it to Uraraka's pov, this is not important as it's mostly the same but from his perspective

After I hear myself shout I fall to the ground, my eyes look at Uraraka before looking at where the loud sound came from. Uraraka looked scared and worried. I tried my best to keep a straight face, I have to stay strong for my friends.

I jump up and run to Uraraka, I help her up and ask many times if shes ok. Once she convinces me I run past her, activating my quirk preparing for a fight. But there was nothing... no one was there, there was no trace of anyone. No trails, nothing left behind, no other sounds.

I rush back to Uraraka asking a last time if shes ok but she looks past me and walks away looking at the ground. I hold my hand out and just as I was about to say something she squated down. "Uraraka..? You ok?" I finally manage to get out.

Suddenly she turns around with fear and shock covering her beautiful smile. I stand there is shock. I thought they were gone.. for good..

I grab a plastic bag that had been left on the ground as litter and put the bullet in it. I look up at Uraraka and we both walk back together silently.
