16. Invincible

Baekhyun finally opened his eyes after an hour. He looked up and saw Chan laying in front of him.

"I love you," he said before kissing him and sparks could be felt.

Feeling another arm wrap around his waist Baekhyun turns to face Yeol who gave him a loving smile and a kiss.

The bedroom door opened and he sees Cheol who was smiling lovingly at him, "I'm happy to see you up. How are you feeling?" He asked as he sat on the edge of the bed.

"I'm... Okay. What happened?" Baekhyun was trying to remember what had happened and why he was in bed when the memories flooded his mind making his heart rate go up real quick in panic.

The man he never wanted to see and avoided all his life came right to him. Did he recognize him? Did he catch his scent even if he had hidden it? Why did this have to happen?

"Baek baby calm down" Yeol said soothingly at the signs of another panic attack from his mate.

"He is not here Baek. You're safe. We will never allow him to hurt you again" Chan said, his words causing the vampire to look at him in shock.

"I'm sorry Baek. I know you wanted to tell us when you were ready but you had a serious panic attack earlier on and you weren't even breathing. I had to get into your mind to put you to sleep and... I saw your memories. We know who he is to you and what he has done" Chan explained with a sad look. Baek didn't want it all to happen this way but Chan had to do what he did for his mate.

Baekhyun leaned into Chan, hiding his face on his neck and inhaling his scent realising how hungry he was. Chan wrapped his arm around his waist and pulled him closer and tilted his head. The vampire didn't hesitate to sink his fangs into the delicate neck until he had his fill and licked it closed but didn't move.

Chan stayed in that position until he felt a wetness go down his neck. Soon the silent tears turned into sniffles and then full on wailing a few minutes later. Yeol leaned closer with his hand around his waist and head leaning on his back. The youngest and middle of the triplets couldn't help the tears that fell from their eyes from the pain of their mate and what he went through.

Cheol tried his best to be strong but the broken sobs of his mate broke his heart. He didn't cry but the pain in his chest felt unbearable. Ever since losing his parents Baekhyun had to be strong. He was 5 years old, had no one and had experienced so much trauma no one should ever experience. But he had to be strong. He had to grow up real quick to survive. But now finally after all these years he could finally let it out and grieve in the arms on his mates. He couldn't hold the sorrow, fear and hopelessness any longer. But after some time the sadness in his heart turned into pure deep anger.

"He took EVERYTHING FROM ME" He screamed in anger, tears still flowing from his eyes, "He killed my parents. I barely made it out alive. My childhood was so hard. Always afraid and always hiding. I never made friends or asked for help. I did it all on my own and it was so hard. I was so scared. I had nightmares every night such that I decided sleep wasn't worth it and so I rarely did. My life was unbearable because HE TOOK EVERYTHING FROM ME" Baekhyun finally sat up causing the brothers to let go of him as he looked at all of them.

"And now that I have finally made friends and found true happiness in my mates he has appeared again to take it all away again and I REFUSE TO MAKE THAT HAPPEN. I REFUSE TO LOSE TO HIM AGAIN. IF ITS WAR HE WANTS IM READY TO GIVE IT TO HIM" Baekhyun said causing his mates to smirk.
