7. Lola

I would never consider this absurd idea. Logan and Sebastian can go to hell for all I care.

I mean, yeah, I love Logan to death, but seriously? I'm a human, and it totally hurts me that he, my twin brother, can do this to me.

But that's five minutes ago. In a span of 5 minutes, I can't believe I changed my mind.

After a few minutes of talking to Logan, or rather him talking to me to do it, I realized how selfish he can be.

But selfish or not, he's still my brother. And we both promise we will always have each other's back no matter what. Guess I'm the only one who have his back. But then his Chevrolet Corvette can do the damage. I smirked at the idea. Sure, I can afford to buy a new one but what's the fun in that, when I can have Logan's baby out of this "truce" thingy.

Well, he chose his slut of a girlfriend over me. I can't believe it, but whatever. Sebastian can have the slut, Logan can go to hell, and I can have the chewvy tomorrow.

I'd do my part and show both of them that they can't always have everything they want.

Sure, I can play along. But I will never give both of them the satisfaction to defeat me. If we are going to do this, I'll show them that I can tame Sebastian, but he can't tame me. Not in this lifetime. The sports car is just a bonus.

"Lo, just pretend that you'll do it. Just for tonight." Cara almost plead. I know how much she likes Logan, but hell, she's my best friend!

They didn't know that I already agreed to this. My pride can't tell them yet so I just keep on drinking my beer while trying to earn every guts to go to Sebastian.

"Yeah Lo. Just for tonight, so we can all enjoy the party without thinking about Logan bashing Sebastian's skull later." Ezra agreed with Cara. I rolled my eyes.

"I don't know guys. But I think we better get home now and just leave everyone here to fix their business."Soli said. Finally, someone makes sense!

I'd love to agree with Soli but as much as I want to be not part of this mess, I can't let Logan on his own tonight. I hate to do it especially because it also means I'm protecting Christy but I'm not doing this for her.

Ugh. I hate my life.

I sigh. Maybe I didn't have to do it. I just need to talk to Sebastian, no matter how much I hate to do that, and let Logan think I'm doing it so he can relax that his girlfriend would not disappear some time tonight with Sebastian.

But then I'll lose Logan's second most precious possession.

I can't believe I'm going to talk to Sebastian fucking King! The last time I talked to him was when we're still on sixth grade, when I still have my corrector braces and my saliva is all over the place. The guy literally laughed at my face before grabbing a pack of tissues to wipe my chin!

"Excuse me girls, I need to talk to him. Don't wait up for me though, Logan will bring me home later."I said and left the squad without waiting for any words from them.

I take another long breath before walking towards where Sebastian and his friends.

He was still with Clifford and Rush, laughing and smiling over something which makes me feel self-conscious.

What the hell. I'm Lola Andrews, I don't get self conscious. I know my assets, I have everything a girl wish for, a pretty face, to die for body, smooth skin, a brain and I've money. To everyone, I'm perfect. So I have to act like one.

Few more steps and Sebastian will see me. Though each step makes me feel a little nervous, I gave all my power to looked like I own the world.

To this crowd, I'm not just Lola Andrews. I'm the Lola Andrews. My every move was being watched by the public eye, from what I dress, what I do during my free time, what I wear to sleep, to who's my latest boy toy.

I have to give them a better show.

Before I reach Sebastian, his two friends leave like their butts are on fire.

Three more steps. Two. Then he diverted his eyes from me to somebody behind.

He should be watching me until I'm at his toes, who the hell got his attention now?

Irritated and confused, I look behind me to watch Sebastian and Christy shared a look. Shared a look? Wtf.

The "truce" not even started yet and they are already eye fucking while Christy is snuggled up with my brother.

I deeply sigh and master all my power to smile brightly at Sebastian. The kind of smile I usually use to people I like to impress.

It works on a lot of guys, anyway.

"Hey." I greeted Sebastian and slowly, he look at me dumbfounded.

After a minute, he doesn't talk. He just simply stared at me. The kind of stare like he saw me for the first time. I don't know what happened but I felt my cheeks heat up.

Stupid stupid blush!!!

He cleared his throat after awhile and smirk at me. There, the old Sebastian's back, ladies and gentlemen.

I rolled my eyes.

He said something but I didn't catch it due to loud music blaring the sound system then he wink at me, that I like to smash his head with my bare hands.

"Let us talk somewhere where we can understand each other without shouting." i said to him a little loudly.

He grinned at me. I glared at him. Which makes him laugh.

He guided me towards the door before shouting to the DJ to stop the music.

"Good evening everyone." He started. He enjoined our hands and as much as I wanted not to hold his hands, I can't just take my hands back. Not when everyone's attention are on us.

He cleared his throat and continued:

"As you all know, my brothers Rush and Cliff and everyone from Alpha Beta came to this truce thing between Logan Andrews and I. Though I didn't exactly remember how we started fighting over petty things, we both want to finish it. Once and for all, we're brothers too. I'm the prettier brother, but brothers nonetheless." He chuckled and the audience laughed. While Logan was gritting his teeth.

"As a truce, Lola and I will date for awhile." He continued and the crowd get loud, murmuring about what he just announced.

"We didn't agreed to it!"I gritted my teeth and tried to get Sebastian's attention but he just hold my hand a little more harder.

"Date means we will try to get along. Please take note the word try. I mean, I know I can make her fall for me in a month."He said loudly, the guys cheered while others whispered to themselves with their own opinion.

I snorted. And said loudly: "me? Fall for him within a month? Nice try King, but that will happen when hell freezes over. Buuuuut I can make you change. In a month, no more rivalry with Logan, because I'm the only one you'll ever want." I smirked at him and he did too to me. We stared at each other, both didn't want to move.

"Hey guys, can we bet on you who'll fall first?!" Clifford shouted from the audience while many of them agreed while laughing and clapping.

"Why not!" Rush answered for us and the crowd roared with excitement. Bets were made and everybody go back to partying after some time.

"Within a month, you're the only one I'll ever want, huh?" He smirked at me and I won't back down.

"Is it a deal then?" I asked, smiling flirtatiously.

He laughed, then lowered his face to mine. Without even announcing, he kissed my mouth. No tongue, just a peck. A peck but it felt so much more. After a few seconds, he lifted his head and look me in the eye.

"Deal."
