He freaking left me in the middle of somewhere at 4 in the freaking morning!!!

I dialled Logan's number for the third time but it goes to his voicemail again. It's all his fault! And I will see to it that I get back at him!

I tried to call my friends too, but no luck. It's either they're not answering or they're phone's dead.

You see, I've saved less than 10 contacts on my phone. I maybe on the highest in the social ladder but I don't like socializing, rather people a lot.

I look at Sebastian's retreating car, hoping he would have a little kindness in his heart to maneuver and ask for my forgiveness, before begging me to let him bring me home. I even thought it was all possible when I saw his car came to an almost halt, signaling to stop.

But no luck.

I mean. He is Sebastian King. His heart is pure black. An A-grade asshole who I wish to get the most ugly warts on the face tomorrow!

The moment his car turned left, I decided that he's the most cruel person on earth. As cruel as murderers, rapists, most politicians. Don't ask why.

I'm slightly panicking now. I mean, it's 4am. I can get an uber or something somewhere here. But since I didn't expect anything like this, I didn't bring any money!

I looked at my fingers. I've got two rings on my fingers. I can maybe use them to pay for my ride?

Ugh. I hate that it all happened to me! Why me?! I'm Lola Andrews and no one ever dare to do this to me!

Now, I've no choice but to call the last person on my list to call. I didn't much choice now.

He answered on the second ring and I wonder what is he doing at 4am that he seemed awake before I even called him.

"Lo? Are you okay? What's the matter?" Drew's husky voice filled my left ear and I silently mutter a relief that finally I have reached someone who could help me.

"Hey, mmmm, Drew. I'm sorry that ------ beeeeeep"

What the actual hell?!

My phone went dead. My stupid fucking phone's battery just died!!!

Can't this night get any more frustrating?!

I've checked the block where Sebastian went but I didn't see anything. No car. No Light. No Sebastian. The asshole really did left me all alone here. In the middle of somewhere.

The street is partly deserted aside from few private cars passing by.

I almost run for my life when a midnight blue Aston Martin stopped in front of me. The driver rolled down the window in the passenger seat and lean to greet me.

"Hey, Lola Andrews. What's up?" Great. Of all people, Sebastian's best friend.

"Ask your asshole of a friend." I answered without bothering to say hi. What for? He's Sebastian's very close friend. Which also means he's an asshole too.

He chuckled slightly.

"Get in. I'll drive you." He offered.

I almost open the door right away. I'm actually too tempted. But I've my pride.

"No thanks, but a friend of mine will pick me up." Please at least offer again. Please offer again.

"Are you sure?" He said smirking at me, leaning back down to the driver's seat, ready to go the moment I'd say yes.

Can't he just offer again?? I'm a girl! I deserved to be asked twice!

But the asshole number 2 won't do that, so I need to hurry and just forget my damn pride if I want to get home.

"Okay. If you insist." I said, practically running to open the door. Gosh, desperate times calls for desperate moves.

I heard Cliff chuckled beside me before driving the car.

"Ew. What's that smell?" I said, slightly gross out.

Okay. I don't usually complain about a lot of things but there are things that make me do. Like bad odors.

Cliff didn't answered me. It seemed like he didn't even hear me. He was busy typing on his phone while driving. Talking about irresponsible driving.

"I'm not familiar here, but you know my address, right?"I asked him after a minute when I noticed that we entered an exclusive avenue, specially developed for a high raised condominiums for businessmen, bachelors and working crowd in the city.

Cliff didn't answer. And my patience is wearing thin every passing seconds.

"Where are you taking me?!" I'm basically yelling, slightly panicking and regretting that I've smacked Sebastian. I rather be with that asshole than this one, I feel safer with him foe unknown reasons.

"Chill. Come on"He said after stopping the car in front of a 20 something storey building. He get out from the car and greeted the guard saying he won't spend the night and will be right back, motioning to his car, which I was in.

I contemplated getting out or staying. Because for one, I don't know Clifford. Aside from he was from different School, I'm only seeing him whenever there is a party and we never even introduce personally.

But by the look of it, I didn't even have a choice now but to get out and see for myself why I'm even here.

The guard smiled at me. Though I didn't smile back. Because why should I? It's 4am. People don't smile at 4am.

"What are we doing here? Why are we here?" I ask Cliff through gritted teeth.

He was standing inside the elevator, pressing his fingers to the open button so it won't lift up yet.

I won't be inside that elevator without him telling me anything. I can stay in the lobby until I get my phone charged or something.

"Look. I'm sleepy. And tired. I can't drive you to your home which is a town over, being like this."He pointed at his face. Which didn't make any sense.

I gaped at him. He rolled his eyes.

"Why are you so difficult? I'm taking you to my friend's unit here. We will stay the night, err morning here until we get some sleep. You can stay on the lobby if you want." He said, giving me a challenging look.

What a jerk.

I should have stayed in the lobby with the smiling-at-4am-guard. Not a bad idea, really. I can get to know him then maybe at some moment during our bonding, he can give me some pointers to learn how to smile at 4am after an event of misfortunes.

But no. I carried myself through the elevator and glared at Cliff. Not bothering to utter a word but I was cursing him to death in my mind.

"That's more like it."He said, pressing numbers 2 and 1 on the elevator operator.

21st floor, here we go.
