chapter 1 : you're fired

- SHUT UP JENNIE KIM ! YOU'RE FIRED !

- FINE ! Anyway, I don't want to work at a company without a good-looking guy and especially with a STUPID MANAGER LIKE YOU 

- WHAT DID YOU SAY?

- I SAID YOU ARE SUCH A DOG !

Jennie shouted at the man standing in front of her.  This is too much for her.  He always "protected" his colleague So HaeIn and always blamed her.

Just now, the bitch named So HaeIn spilled coffee on the damn manager's file and talked to another bitch to blame Jennie.  but unfortunately for them, she heard it and she went to tell the manager about the incident but of course the bastard didn't believe her and ignored her explanation

The manager not only refused to listen to her explanation, but also threw the previous paper coffee cup at her.  This made her explode and once again she rushed to grab the manager's collar.

As a result, she was fired now

Jennie quickly packed up all her things at work then came home in anger.  This is the 5th time Jennie has been fired from her workplace.

Jennie sighed, maybe she had to apply for another job, a place where she had the ideal working environment so that she could unleash creativity and long-term attachment.

It seems that this is too difficult because she currently does not have any passion for any field, but if she does not work, she cannot take care of her family and her future.

After taking a shower, Jennie lay down on the bed, she took the phone and decided to call Lisa - a friend who was currently working at a job brokerage center to ask for her help.

After three rings, Lisa picked up the phone

"Hello"

- Hi Lili.

"Is that jennie?"

"What's wrong? Why does your voice sound so sad?"

She set the phone aside and went downstairs and straight into the kitchen. Jennie was going to prepare Lisa's favorite mixed salad to thank for the past time that bothered Lili too much. Her mother was sitting outside the living room, on her old armchair.

Mrs. Kim caught a glimpse of Jennie's tired expression, then placed a half-empty cup of tea on the table and called Jennie over.

- Darling, come here.

- What's wrong mommy ?  I'm a little busy.

Jennie said from the kitchen.

- Just a moment, come here, I have something to tell you

- my hands are dirty..

- Okay, please come to my room when you're done.

Jennie sighed, she really didn't wanna show her mom this tired appearance.  She made an excuse to avoid her mother, she didn't want Mrs. Kim to know that she was fired..

Lisa phoned jennie at 7am, when jendeuk was still sleeping.

The phone rang, but Jennie remained motionless.  She couldn't sleep the previous night because there was a cockroach parked on the balcony, and she had to stay awake for fear that the cockroach might fly into the room.

- Who the hell is calling at this time?

Jennie frowned, she cursed under her breath then turn off the phone.

But Lisa kept calling, making Jendeuk reluctantly answer the phone.

- Hello!  - speaking in an annoying voice

"Hey Jennie it's me!"

- Who the hell are you?

"Me! Me! Lisa"

- Why are you calling at this time?  Did you know I couldn't sleep the whole night?
