"183 days. That's exactly the time it took me to get over you" she said.

"Oh really! Were you counting?" he asked surprisingly.

"Indeed I was. I counted every single day. The days on which the tiniest of thing would flash all those memories of yours in my eyes" she claimed.

"But now, here we are with you completely over me. I wonder how you survived those 183 days without me" he said with an exasperating sigh.

"Yes, I did . I did survived all those days by myself, without you!" And as she said this, she felt an ache in her heart.

"So now that you're over me, are you looking forward to see and meet new people? If you do, then let me give you some tips" he said, trying to lighten up her mood.

"Oh please! I don't need any of your tips, I've my got my own tricks. And secondly, you have spoilt me way too much for anyone! Nobody's smile has that affect on me like yours. It's so irritating at times!"

"It took you 183 days to get over me but do you know it took me 91 days to confess my love for you! It began right from the moment I saw you. It was love at first sight, hon!"

"45 days. The exact number of days of us being together."
There was an awkward silence between them. They were both looking at each other but still couldn't see each other in eyes.

"I know that it's....."

"Whatever it may be, I am not going to buy that LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT story of yours. I very well know that it was my vanilla cupcakes which made you fall for me. Be honest. Admit it!" she said this before he could fill her ears up with any sort of explanations.

"Trust me, love at first sight is real. And I reckon that you'll start believing in it very soon" he said with a grin.

"Sameer, I hope you understand that I am very much over you and also now it's time for you to leave. It's best for us to be apart from each other. Your presence has started to make me a lunatic" she said with anguish and tears in her eyes.

"The presence of me in your life depends completely on you and only you" he said.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. A lady, dressed in white came into the room carrying something in her arms. In the very next moment, she handed over that thing into her arms.
With tears rolling down her cheeks and smile on her lips, she saw her daughter for the first time. She kissed her and knew that what that feeling was , was nothing but love at first sight.

"Ma'am, I would like to know the child and her father's name" the nurse said.

"Her name is Sameera, daughter of Late Captain Sameer Ahuja" she replied.

The nurse left and there she was all alone in an empty room with her world in her arms and a void in her heart.
