✘ 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 ✘ clara !
✘ 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 ✘
Makari is fast. He's always been fast with everything in his life. He's fast at running, he's fast at talking, he's fast at cleaning, but that doesn't mean he's good at everything. Although sometimes it seems like Makari is a natural at everything he does, he's not. he's just good at making it seem like he is. He's always been the one to pick himself up and push on even when the odds weren't in his favor. As a kid, he joined many things, did lots of extracurricular activities to occupy his always racing mind. He jumped from sport to sport and never really found one that stuck. always losing interest not long after even starting. This is the same with school activities. He's always been the type to raced from club to club, always climbing his way to the top before dropping it and moving to the next. this has lead Makari to be a natural at public speaking, he knows how to write really well and loves the world of fantasy that keeps him immersed when he has nothing else to do. As a fast paced person naturally, he can't stand being around things or people that are slow. it doesn't matter what kind of slow either. slow walkers, slow readers, slow thinkers, all the above and more just bother him. it's not even on purpose. He has little patience and it shows. Although Mar is always moving, always doing something, always keeping busy, he has bad asthma that has the tendency to affect him at the worst possible times. he doesn't let that stop him. Makari usually doesn't let anything stop him especially if he can control it. He's a strong boy after all the years of sports and all the running he does, he knows how to move.
his parents find it wild that he has even settled down to theater but Mar claims the arts are different. he can be whoever he wants to be on stage, he is good at pretending. he's always been a thinker, an imaginative being. he is a very reactive person, especially with his face and with his body movements, having a problem at times with being too expressive and over exaggerating his movements although not on stage. he loves to talk and definitely has a hard time stopping. Many people believe him to be aggravating and Makari definitely has a hard time not letting the words and opinions get to him. He has always been very susceptible to criticism. easily someone who takes things to heart way too often. some may say he's overly emotional or sensitive. they wouldn't be wrong to call him that either. Makari can get very insecure with himself and has a hard time taking any kind of criticism, good or bad. Although he does try and work on it, it's not unheard of for him to lie when it comes to his mental state. with good acting comes a good talespinner. Mar is an extremely good liar. whether for good or bad, mar knows how to make believable false claims and he sure as hell does it well. although he usually has the strength to keep going, words do hurt for this boy. and it's not easy to get him back once you've lost him. Makari is definitely someone of romantic nature even if he doesn't look it. He's a gentleman. He doesn't come off strong and definitely won't make the first move, but he will push on if he feels a connection, or at least he will try as subtly as he can. it's not hard for him to get embarrassed and secondhand embarrassment from movies or shows have him pausing the screen to take a minute just to collect himself. Even though he tends to have a lot on his plate already, he's never been someone to lose his temper, usually one to keep that kind of stuff under control unless really irritated. like,, really irritated. and even then he's not really mad. He's definitely not calm but,, he's not an angry person. or at least he tries not to be. sometimes people really could just use a good slap in the face. He tries to be good if only a bit selfish at times. He tries. He pushes. He also carries his books because he doesn't like the idea of having back problems, so there's that.
✘ 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲𝘀 ✘ ocean ! people who smoke ! greens ! the country side ! art ! big animals !
✘ 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 ✘ makari grew up in a very loving home if you couldn't tell. his mother and his father were actually highschool sweethearts and grew up to raise the small family of just the three of them. he was bullied a bit growing up but after filling out and making some good friends, he's learned how to get back up when he falls and just keep moving. he's really codependent on his parents and friends though he doesn't notice it because of how much he tries to do for himself. what really shows off his dependence on people is the way he seeks validation in his work and just in general.
