Finn entered Beck's trailer. She had been there before on the beach trip, but this time was different. It was just her and him now. The lights were dimmed and the roof was lined with fairy lights. Beck gently led her inside and sat her down on the bed. He then began pulling the cushions off the couch. Finn was confused by this.

"What are you doing?" She asked with a laugh.

"Building a pillow fort. Wanna help?" He asked.

"I've never built a pillow fort." Finn said quietly.

"What?!" Beck exclaimed.

His face of bewilderment causing Finn to begin giggling.

"How have you never built a pillow fort?" Beck asked.

"I don't know. I just haven't." Finn said.

"Well then we better make this the best pillow fort ever, yeah?" Beck said.

Finn laughed and nodded.

They gathered all the pillows and blankets that Beck had. The couch pillows were used for the walls and floor. Blankets were thrown over the top and laid on the bottom to create a comfy sleeping place. Beck pulled down some of the fairy lights and lined the inside of the fort. He grabbed his laptop and snacks and crawled in. He peaked his head out of the opening and looked towards Finn.

"You coming or what?" He asked with a smile.

"I'm coming, I'm coming." Finn said.

She crawled into the fort and laid beside Beck. He pulled out his laptop and put on a movie. The events of the day began to catch up with her and she began to fall asleep. Beck didn't notice that she was asleep until her head fell on his shoulder. He looked down at her peaceful sleeping face and smiled. He pulled her close to him and pressed a kiss to her forehead. Beck soon followed her into sleep.

Finn woke to the sunlight streaming on her face. She was confused at where she was for a second before remembering that she spent the night with Beck. She noticed that the space next to her was empty. Finn crawled out of the pillow fort and looked for Beck. He wasn't in the trailer either. She wondered where he had gone.

She didn't need to wonder long before Beck was walking back into the trailer with two plates. His hair was sleep tossed and he was still wearing his pajamas. Finn didn't look much different. Her hair was pulled up into a very messy bun and she was wearing one of Beck's shirt.

"Breakfast!" Beck announced.

He handed her one of the plates. On it was an omelet, some toast, and oatmeal.

"Thank you! Did you make this?" She asked.

"Uh, no. That'd be my mom." Beck replied.

"Well tell her thanks for me." Finn said.

They both ate quickly and soon retired to the bed. They simply cuddled and basked in each other's embrace.

"Are we going to talk about what happened yesterday?" Beck asked.

"I'd rather we didn't." Finn replied.

It was silent for a moment.

"I just want you to be safe." Beck said sincerely.

"I know." Finn sighed.

"I just... can't talk about this. Not right now." Finn said.

"Are you in danger?" Beck asked.

Finn didn't respond, which Beck took note of. He let out a loud sigh. He wished that she would tell him. He wished that she would let him protect her. Beck just wanted to help her. The two ended up spending the whole day lounging about. Finn hadn't realized how much time had passed until she saw that the sun had set.

"I should probably go home." Finn said.

Beck let out a deep sigh and nodded. They both climbed into the car and drove to her apartment complex. Beck parked and they sat in silence for a beat. Finn started to exit the car, but was stopped by a hand grasping her arm.

"Please don't go. You can come back and stay at my place tonight." Beck said pleadingly.

His big eyes were wet with tears. Finn sent him a reassuring smile and gently removed the hand from her arm. She leant over the center console and pressed a gentle kiss to his lips. Her hand laid against his cheek.

"You need to let me go. I'll be okay." Finn whispered.

"Promise?" Beck asked.

Beck held out his hand with his pinky extended. Finn grasped it with her own.

"I promise." She said reassuringly.

Finn climbed out of the car, waved him goodbye, and made her way into the apartment. She didn't know what was waiting for her inside. She gently opened the door and slipped inside, trying her best to be quiet. The apartment was dark. The only light source was the moon coming from the window. She saw a figure slumped over on the couch. Something was wrong. Finn could tell that something was very very wrong here. Finn approached the figure and noticed the long hair and familiar features, it was her sister.

"Lauren!" Finn gasped.

Finn's shaky hands fell over Lauren. She didn't know what to do. Lauren had a wound slowly leaking blood on her forehead. Finn grabbed her wrist and let out a sigh of relief upon feeling her thumping pulse. Suddenly, the floor boards creaked from behind her. She quickly whipped around with a gasp of fear. Josh was standing there, bat clutched in his hand.

"Josh. What are you doing?" Finn asked fearfully.

Josh was acting very strange. He was twitching and jerking where he stood. A low growl emitting from his vocal cords. Finn thought he might be on drugs or having a psychotic break.

"This is your fault you stupid slut!" Josh yelled at Finn, spittle flying from his mouth.

"You made me do this to her! You did this!" He yelled.

Finn was shaking with fear. She didn't know what to do. She thought that Josh might kill them.

"I'm sorry, Josh! I'm sorry! Please don't hurt us!" Finn cried out.

Josh let out a haunting laugh. At the sound, chills went out Finn's spine.

"Don't worry. I'm not going to hurt her, just you." He said with a sickening smile.

He began to advance on Finn, who let out a shriek and began backing away. Finn attempted to run for the door, but Josh was faster than her. He kicked her legs out from under her, causing her to fall. Finn attempted to get back up, but Josh kicked her roughly in the stomach. He then raised the bat over his head and began beating her with it. Finn encircled her arms around her head, trying to protect herself. Josh grabbed Finn by her hair and drug her back to her sister on the couch. With a final strike, he hit Finn over the head, causing her to go unconscious. As Finn's vision faded to black, she saw the image of a mad man with a bat. She feared that this may be the end.
