renjun took notice of the situation and started to help jaemin, by doing the breathing exercises that he was taught by the therapist

and jaemin soon started to get calmer, his breath went back to normal and his heart slowed down a bit

"it'll be okay..."

jeno perspective

"it won't hurt, okay..."

"i told you to leave! leave!"

and he tried closing the door, but his dad forced it open, he was too weak and then he backed away hiding in his room in the closet all the way in the back

he put a box in front of him and stayed quiet as he heard the footsteps get closer

-flashback-

"mommy, are you okay?"

"yeah, don't worry, remember what i told you, hid-"

"hide when he gets home, and cover my ears so i can't hear"

jeno was sad he couldn't do anything, his mom was always bruised from head to toe and it scared him

he was always the one hiding and he just wished he was there for her before she passed away

that night was the night, the door opened and then jeno looked at his mom and kissed her quickly

"i love you mommy, goodnight"

he said as he quickly went to his room, he always said that whenever he came and because his mom stayed with him all the time

"it's okay, mommy will be fine"

and he covered his ears, as he heard the shouts and stuff falling

"where is that little shit of ours?!"

jeno sang a song as he didn't want to hear and then he heard the footsteps

he wanted to cry but he couldn't and then the closet opened

"oh there you are..."

and he was dragged out of there, while his mom tried stopping him

"no! n-no leave him alone!"

"shut up!"

was all jeno heard before he was knocked out and when he woke up he had thought that his mom went to sleep, so he closed his eyes and snuggled closer to her

"i love you mommy, goodnight"

and then the next morning, she laid there dead but jeno never knew until he saw the blood

and then the police, they tried taking him away but he wouldn't let her go

"it'll be okay..."

but ever since that night everything changed, nothing was okay

he stayed there and the door pounded

"let me in, jeno, i just want to talk!"

but he didn't care and then he sang and he waited until his dad left but he could tell he was there

and the door opened and then he heard shuffling, and he heard a door open

"come out out wherever you are"

and then his dad got closer and then the closet opened

"it'll be okay...i'm your father i wouldn't hurt you"

and jeno just stayed quiet, but then he was dragged out, he was scared for his life and then his dad looked at him with a grin

"please don't hurt me..."
