Megatron's POV:
"So... you can shape shift with that thingie?" Knockout leans forward curiosily to see the gem in my servo.
"Indeed, Doctor. Once activated by Energon." My reply comes with no acknowledgments other than my words.
"That's why you sliced Ratchet's palm." He nods with realization.
True, to be honest watching Optimus flinch every time I do something to Ratchet is most amusing.
"So... We've lost our prisoners, what do we do now?" Ravage, in human form, a small teenage boy, asks.
A smile comes to my faceplate. "Plan B."
The second plan is simple-- an ambush attack that's been carefully planned and tested for months. We have the means of contacting Alto and Vess, who have been prisoners of the Autobots for quite some time now; and they will lead the Autobots into leaving the base so Vess can do what she does best-- escape from prison. She has precise skill of escaping closed rooms, undoing chains, and slipping under security systems. She will disable the shield of the base, and we will send all of the troops out, including Starscream and I. When we arrive, it's execution for the Autobots, when they return to their base. But Ratchet... He never leaves the base? No matter, Vess can take him down.
Vess failed to slaughter him in the first place, I must remember, but her loyalty to the Decepticons is most valuable. All that's left is contacting Alto and Vess, then let them do all the work for us.
"Then why do we need the gem?" Knockout asks, he already knows of the plan.
"First, to keep it out of Autobot hands. And second, you really don't think we can take down their predacon, do you? " I growl. When Knockout shakes his helm, I add, "we need to frame her, get her away from the Autobots. With the gem, I can turn into her, imagine, if she destroyed some of a human town, do you think Optimus would keep her around? "
"No....." He nods in understanding.
"Therefore, there will be no predacon to stop us. And if she returns, Ravage will be waiting." Optimus, you and your lapdog won't survive this one...
