After their confrontation with Glynda, their whole team was upset. To think someone this close to the headmaster was willing to ruin them. All for what?
Weiss can't think of what Cinder and the rest of their people would have for Glynda to want. After all, she is a prominent huntress and for Ozpin to even trust her so much as to keep her close most of the time, acting as his adviser. The man would be crushed to find out about it.
"Do you think Ozpin already knows?" Blake asked as she walked with Yang, their hands intertwined as they headed to get food in the canteen. Her eyes searched for answers among Weiss and Ruby but they couldn't give her one.
Yang ran her hand through the fauness' hair with a sympathetic smile. "If he knew, why would he leave Beacon open at times like this. He's headmaster, his business outside must be more important he'd leave his place open."
Blake was thinking about what Yang said, her ears twitching. Her shadows seem to be in a worrying flurry on the floor. A few students seemed to notice. Ruby made an illusion to hide it as it seems like Blake was too busy to notice it.
The four of them got their food in line and some vending machines around the canteen before settling in one of the free tables. All were occupied in their thoughts but who were their schoolmates to mind them?
After eating, the team took to the mission boards again to look for adequate level missions to match their abilities. They took an official mission which included clearing out of Grimm in another area with easier access when everything goes south.
"I wonder what happened to all those Grimm we didn't clear out." Blake wondered, her ears moving around. "I wish we could just drop Glynda there to fend for herself."
"Kitty, that's a bad idea. Not that bad but if the teachers found out about it, we might be in trouble." Yang replied to her lover as she gave the girl a soft kiss on her forehead.
Weiss held on to Ruby's hand, looking at her worried as she confirmed the mission in her scroll. "Ruby, we'll be fine this time." She assured, giving a gentle squeeze to her hand.
"Yeah. I hope so." Ruby replied, unable to tell her girlfriend of the bad feeling settling at the pit of her stomach.
Once they all geared up and requested for an airship to take them to the mission grounds, they were quick to get into action, doing as they were meant to.

Glynda watched at Team RWBY left for their mission from the headmaster's office. Once they were out of sight, she called in at Cinder to report. She told her of the happenings she witnessed, how she quickly found out by the team and how they threatened her.
"If they would have stayed and acted like martyrs in the mission, they could have been dead. How can they all be so perceptive?" Cinder asked but Glynda couldn't give her an answer. "No matter, we can always take some other ways."
Glynda frowned. "What do you mean? I thought your main goal was to kill the girls?" She inquired.
"You always have to think bigger, Glynda. I always have intended for Beacon to fall and steal what they have in the vaults. That way I can't be inferior to those brats. They just stand in the way." Cinder revealed, her voice full of irritation.
"You can always cut off the other towers int eh kingdoms. Won't that have the same effect as you wanted?" Glynda asked as she moved around the room, her shoes clicking on the floors of the office.
"We've been stationed in Vale for too long to try and head to other kingdoms and cities. The following days would have been ideal to take over. Especially at the time of the dance where most of the guests from the Vytal festival would gather." Glynda can't comprehend why Vale was a big role in Cinder's plans.
"You have another opportunity. You can strike Beacon now." The professor suggested, biting her finger. It was a horrible suggestion. They won't have many casualties but that means they won't have hindrances that can get in their way.
"Elaborate." was all Cinder requested.
"The team missions have started for the term. Even if there won't be much of the staff around, that only means that security is loose. Not to mention, Ozpin still isn't back." The blonde revealed, still nipping at her finger until it started to bleed. "Now...would be the perfect time to attack without hindrance from Team RWBY or Ozpin."
Cinder hummed at the other end of the line. It seems like the blonde's suggestion was worth something so she continued. "It may be a slim window since you have until the end of the week or two more days at the very least until someone tries to foil your plans."
"Indeed, everything has been coming together well until now. If we attack Beacon now, we can overwhelm the remaining security in the school." Cinder mulled over it. She wasn't the type to quickly rush into things without a solid and fail-proof plan to go with it. If they were going to do the attack, they have to quickly ship everything they stole to the next location.
Cinder weighed the consequences if they were to take Beacon now as it is. Glynda brought up great points but that doesn't mean she should underestimate the school's ability to protect its treasures and students.
"What can you do to assure me that none of the teams will come back quickly?" Cinder asked as she started planning things with Emerald and Mercury who seem to get the drift.
Glynda opened the mission boards again and assigned another mission to every team out deployed on the field under the guise it was a compulsory mission for the term and extra credits. The students can only accept the missions since they did need the credits due to the lack of lessons from the celebration of the festival.
"Already taken care of." She reported.
"Well done. Now, I hope you can still help us after this mess you've gotten us into, Glynda." Cinder asked with displeasure.
The professor bit her lip. "I'm afraid that's the extent of the help I can give you. Any more and Ozpin will hear about this. I don't know what he's planning but the rest will be up to you and your group."
"I see." There were silence and a few shuffling sounds at the other end of the line. "That will be all. I'll inform you if we'll be storming in Beacon soon. That way we can get you out. You're still useful after all this."
"I'm grateful to be considered." With that, the call ended.
Glynda left the office, uncomfortable that she didn't have much time to clean her tracks up. Now it was up to her to keep the other staff from suspecting anything.
With all the information they needed, Cinder got to planning how to storm Beacon Academy in two days. Much was left to be done but this was an opportunity they had to take.
