"I'll see you later tonight," I smile, my arms resting on his open car window.
He grins back at me, starting the vehicle, "definitely. I really enjoyed last night. See you later, princess," he winks.
I scoff and wave, "okay, my prince. Bye bye."

When I walk onto the sand, it startles me to already see Mingi sitting on the bench. He's never been here before me, it was odd.
I jog up the cement pathway to the bench, Mingi not noticing me. It was only when I called his name that he looked over.
"Hey, you're early. Is something wrong?" I question with worry visible in my face.
He shakes his head, "nope, I'm fine. I just wanted to see you."
I laugh at his eagerness, cuddling up to his side when I sit. My arms hug his left arm, letting my head rest on his shoulder. He just sets his hand on my thigh.
"Did you know most brands of lipstick have fish scales in it?" I state, scrunching my nose at how disgusting that is. I'm glad I don't wear it. "And did you know many fish can taste without opening their mouths? And Herrings communicate through farts? And fish can't close their eyes because they don't have eyelids-?"
"Wait, okay, one, why are you telling me so many facts? And two, I didn't know fish could even close their eyes. I thought they couldn't blink. What the hell?" He laughs, his eyes disappearing under his eyelids.
"Well most fish can't, but sharks can. Actually, they don't blink, but they have eyelids. It's just to protect their eyes from different things," I explain, amused by his reaction. "And I'm telling you more because I feel like you share these great big stories and I share a small, stupid fact."
"Oh Yun, your facts aren't stupid. I love them. Even if they're small, it leads to bigger questions in my head. Just like how you ask questions about the constellations. Like, if a pufferfish can kill 30 adult humans, could it kill a shark? Things like that. So don't think your facts are stupid because I really love them. They baffle me everyday," he beams, kissing the top of my head.
I blush at the action, grateful for the darkness that consumed us, "thank you," I mutter.
"Of course, princess. Now, did you know of the constellation called Draco, the dragon? The dragon was the traditional guardian of temples and treasures and the springs of life and immortality. The Queen of the Gods, Hera, set Draco to serve as the protector of the dazzling golden apples, which she presented to Zeus on the day of their wedding. While doing so, Draco was slain by The Hero, Hercules, who stole the apples, which also became a sign of his immortality. Queen Hera was outraged by Hercules, but she rewarded Draco for his faithfulness by lifting him up into the sky to be remembered as a constellation for eternity. And to answer your question from yesterday, Queen Hera did get jealous over all of Zeus' lovers. No woman was off-limits to Zeus, so he was, indeed, a hoe. Zeus actually tried super hard to marry Hera until she gave in and fell in love with him, and then he completely just was like- yeah, let's fuck someone else," he chuckles, shocking me. "And Hera was completely loyal to him, too. She had many opportunities to cheat, but she never did. She only sought revenge on the ladies who Zeus cheated on her with, for example, Callisto, the bear lady."
"Wow," I gasp, "what a little whore. Zeus is such a bitch. That poor woman. I wonder why he even decided to get married if he was just going to go around and fuck all these other women."
Mingi shrugs, apologizing after moving my head, "maybe it was because he was a king that needed a queen. Someone to be there, I guess. I don't know how royalty works or anything. Hera wasn't his first wife either. He ate his first wife."
"What?!" I shout, it echoing off into the sea that waved in front of us. "He ate her??"
"That's a story for another time," he laughs again. Wow, he's laughing a lot tonight. It makes me elated when I know he's happy.
"Damn," I swear, wanting to listen to more. I always loved story times. They were fun. "It's so cool that you know all of these stories by heart. I love hearing them."
"I know you do. I always study them more throughout the day so I don't get anything wrong. I hope I haven't gotten anything wrong, but I doubt you'd know if I did. I'm happy to know that you actually enjoy these legends. I remember being as happy and excited to hear them when I was with my grandfather."
I smile softly, my heart growing warm at the thought of a gleaming, little Mingi, "you'll have to show me some photos of you when you were little sometime. I'd love to see them."
"Same goes for you. I bet you're so adorable."
"I was pretty cute when I was younger, but I bet you were cuter. Doesn't matter, don't argue with me. We were both probably adorable."
He nods, "agreed. It's getting late, though. You wanna go home?"
I shake my head, "I don't, but I probably should. Drive me?" I ask politely.
"Always," he grins, letting me get off his shoulder before he stands up and grabs my hand, leading me to his car.
