*trigger warning* there's some homophobia in this chapter. I'll once again put a bunch of spaces in between the areas without homophobic bits and the bits with it. The beginning and ending are good so yeah.

Cassandra's POV
Raps invited me over her house from Saturday into Sunday. My dad said I could so I said yes.
I knocked on her door, eager to see her. Her dad answered the door.
"You must be Cassandra, come in," he exclaimed.
As walked in Raps slide down a railing and ran to give me a hug.
"Rapunzel, can you at least make an effort to remember socks," her dad asked.
"Oh I remember them, I just don't want to put them on,"  she laughed.
Her dad walked away and Raps led me up the stairs. We then entered her room.
"Woah," I sighed. All the walls were hand painted. Even some of the ceiling. "Did you paint this all," I questioned.
"Yeah. I paint a lot," she answered.
She then bounced on her bed and crossed her legs.
    "It's beautiful-" I remarked.
    "Thanks."
I turned my head towards Raps. "Almost as beautiful as you," I admired.
She blushed and looked down. I sat on the bed beside her. She looked up at me and smiled. I tucked a bit of her hair behind her ear. She reached her hand up and grabbed my hand. Her hand was soft and comforting.
    "Cass?"
    "Yeah?"
    "I'm scared," she mumbled.
    "Of what?"
"It's just- I've never felt this way about anyone and you're the first person to truly care about me. I don't know what to do and I- I'm scared that this is going to end," she whispered.
I hugged her "I'm not going anywhere Raps," I reassured.
We sat on her bed talking for a few hours. Her parents called us down for dinner.

Rapunzel's POV
We sat down and my parents had to tell me to sit normally. Cass let out a small laugh. I love her laugh.
"Rapunzel, what ever happened with that Eugene kid," my father asked.
"Oh uh, he asked me out and I-" I started to answer when my dad cut me off.
"That's great. You know, he's a great guy. I mean, there's of course his obvious flaws, but he saved you," he said.
Silence filled the air for a second. "Dad," I started in a meek tone, "I said no."
His face filled with confusion then he asked, "Why?"
"Dad I-I'm gay," I muttered.
The room once again got silent. Cass grabbed my hand to comfort me.
"No you're straight," he blurted.
"Dad. I'm homosexual and I have been my whole life. It's in my dna and there's no changing it," I rebuked.
"No. Gothel must have done something to you. Brainwashed you or something," he insisted.
I stood up from my seat and screamed, "This has nothing to do with Moth-," I paused for a second to correct myself, "Gothel!"
I stormed off into my room.
Cassandra's POV
Raps stormed off. Anger filled my mind. I snapped, "How could you say that to her?!? She's your daughter and deserves nothing but love and acceptance."
"Did you do this to her," he questioned me angrily.
"All I did to her was give her affection and someone who loves her for who she is," I replied.
I then stormed off after Raps.

I knocked on her door and asked, "Raps, can I come in?"
She told me I could and I slowly opened the door, shutting it behind me.
I started walking over to Raps and she jumped up and ran into my chest. I wrapped my arms around her and she started crying into my shirt. I slowly walked her over to her bed. She cuddled into my lap.
After a few minutes Raps drifted to sleep. A few more minutes pasted and I followed.
