*trigger warning* there's a bit of violence in this chapter. There's also cursing and a homophobia. Just want to clarify, I'm in no way attacking the lgbtq+ community (I'm apart of it so I'd just be attacking myself so yeah XD) and don't want to hurt anyone so yeah. If you want just the cute shipping moments just scroll to Cassandra's POV and then the very end. I'll put a lot of spaces between the areas that are good so you can easily find the areas I mentioned. I will put a trigger warning in front of any chapter with possibly triggering or harmful things. *trigger warning*

Rapunzel's POV
A few days passed. We were together almost all the time. We both stay after school a few days a week to hang out. Life was great.
During lunch I got up to go to the bathroom. When I was in the hallway a group of girls spun me around. They looked like sophomore's. They pinned me against a wall and started calling me names. Each person was yelling different things at me. "Virgin," "Gremlin," and all sorts of other names.
The one that's pinning me to the walls raised her hand to silence the others. She then sneered at me, "So what was it like spending 18 years of your life inside you freak."
I tried pushing her off me but it didn't work. She was so much stronger than me.
"Don't push me again freak or else you'll regret it freak," she hissed.
"My name is Rapunzel," I snapped.
She laughed a demonic laugh and pulled me forward and slammed me back against the wall. "Shut up asshole," she screamed.
Her screaming caused me to wince. This only gave more fuel to the fire. She went to hit me but one of her friends stopped her. At least one of them has mercy.
"Tell anyone what happened and you're dead understand," she paused for a second then continued in a mocking tone, "Rapunzel." She then pushed me on the ground and walked away with her friends.
I stayed on the ground frozen in a ball. Tears started rolling down my face. I tried getting up but my body wouldn't let me. I was too scared.

Cassandra's POV
I got up to go to the bathroom during lunch. When I got in the hallway leading up to the bathroom I saw Raps on the floor curled in a ball. I screamed her name and slid next to her.
"What happened? Are you okay," I questioned frantically.
She turned and bear hugged me. With anyone else I wouldn't have hugged back but it's different with Raps. She cried into my shirt and I rubbed her back to comfort her. She seemed to be calming down a bit.
After a few minutes she stopped hugging me and looked up into my eyes. I wanted her to get closer to me which was an urge I failed to explain. Her green eyes pierced my soul. She looked conflicted. As if she wanted to do something yet wasn't sure how to do it. I put my hands on her shoulders and smiled.
She placed one of her hands on my cheek and the other behind my head. She slowly pulled me closer and then kissed me on the lips.
This strange, yet familiar feeling overtook me. The same feeling that comes every time I look at Raps. Every time she smiles. Every time she laughs. When she holds me. When she says my name. I didn't understand it at first but I think I finally do.
She pulled back but I didn't want it to end. I didn't want this feeling to go anyway. I pulled her back in and continued the kiss. This one much longer than the last and void of doubt.
I pulled back. "Raps?"
"Cass?"
There was a moment of silence and then Raps dug her head into my chest, her golden hair falling upon my legs.
I never want this to end.
A few days passed and it was Friday. I talked my dad into letting me swap into Raps cafeteria, he's head of security at the school. I wanted to make sure that no one hurt Raps again. She refused to tell me what exactly happened in the hallway. She seems to get scared when I bring it up so I decided to stop asking about it.
She had to go to the bathroom so we both got up and headed towards the bathroom.

Rapunzel's POV
When we were almost at the bathroom the group of sophomore's stopped us.
"Hey," the main sophomore paused for a moment to get her voice in a mocking tone, "Rapunzel."
My hand instinctively reached for Cass's arm.
"Oh look, virgin girl's gay," the head girl said while laughing.
"Just leave us alone, okay," I pleaded.
"Don't worry, I'll leave your girlfriend alone. But you? Oh we're just getting started, what is it dark haired girl here calls you? Raps," she said.
"Leave her alone," Cass demanded.
The girl singled to one of the others to go after Cass. I was about to step forward and stop her when Cass flipped the girl over.
"Woah, Raps knows how to pick em," the main girl murmured.
Everyone paused for a second and just looked at the girl. What the hell-
"Leaves Raps alone or you'll get to see all the tiny details on the floor up close," Cass threatened.
Cass is hot when she's like this, not gonna lie.
The group of sophomores walked away.

"Cass?"
"Yeah Raps? You okay?"
"I'm fine I just wanted to ask you something," I replied.
"Go for it."
"A few days ago we kissed but then never really mentioned it afterwards. Are we dating now," I asked.
Cass pulled me closer and kissed me.
"I guess that's a yes," I murmured.
We both laughed and then continued kissing. I never want this to end.
